"..The Biden administration is scaling back its debt relief program for millions of Americans over concerns about legal challenges from the student loan industry as well as a new lawsuit from Republican-led states.

In a reversal, the Education Department said on Thursday it would no longer allow borrowers who have federal student loans that are owned by private entities to qualify for the relief program. The administration had previously said those borrowers would have a path to receive up to $10,000 or $20,000 of loan forgiveness.."

I thought "Whispers" Biden was going to wait until after the election to kick them in the balls.

So do you support Biden's action to cut back on the loan forgiveness or not?

It isn't clear from you mindless partisan propaganda post.

It is simply unconstitutional to try to use the 2003 Heroes Act which was intended for an emergency to forgive a trillion in loans when Joe himself said the pandemic emergency was over.

Revenue bills must start in the House.

When will dimwitted johnforbes ever understand that a pandemic may be over but its long lasting financial effects will take years to fight and overcome.

Has johnforbes ever criticized the Fed for raising interest rates to combat the global inflation caused by the pandemic just because he believes the pandemic is over?

Of course he hasn't. He's nothing if not the greatest partisan hypocrite this board has ever seen.

No, the pandemic has no lasting effects other than medical.

It was the lockdowns which caused the problems.
