New Justice Tokenji Ready to Take Seat

With Breyer set to retire, Justice Tokenji is ready -- even with her inability to define the word "woman" -- to take his place and vote leftist for decades regardless of the issues in the case.

As the Court returns in October, tanned and rested, we will see whether she is more Groucho Marx than Karl Marx.

"...-- to take his place and vote leftist for decades regardless of the issues in the case."-johnflubs

johnforbes is confusing Jackson with Kavanaugh and Coney Barret, who already both lied to the Senate and will vote "rightist" for decades regardless of the issues in the case.

But that doesn't bother johnny in the least. johnny doesn't care about the law as long as it is decided in favor of old, rich, white men, as this court is doing without exception.

What did Kavanaugh and Barret lie about?

Didn't Kavanaugh say Roe vs Wade was settled law during congressional hearings?

So either Kavanaugh had a major change in his ideological thinking or he just out right lied to the congress to basically get the job.

No, he didn't say it was "settled law."

He said it was "precedent on precedent" law, (Roe, later upheld/reaffirmed by Casey and many other cases) and he intentionally gave the false impression that he respected precedent on precedent rulings that upheld a law over 50 years by saying it is "very important." He was lying when he intentionally gave that false impression that he held reaffirmation of laws many times over many decades as being "very important" knowing that people would assume that "very important" "precedent on precedent" mattered to HIM when clearly he doesn't find it "very important" at all. Such laws are there to be overturned by him.

The Court spoke on Roe 50 years ago and you couldn't "GET OVER IT" in all that time, dimwit.

Why would anyone listen to a hypocritical moron like you about how they should just "GET OVER IT" all of a sudden? :O

Fucking American Taliban... sillydummy can't own black slaves any longer so he wants to own women instead.

So I learned the SCOTUS has overturned precedent around 40 times since 1789. That is very, very, few times.
