So apparently that well regulated militia went out today and opened fire in some grade school in Texas....in the way that the founders of this nation intended. Now the conservatives will be sending out their meaningless thoughts and prayers...which will immediately be certainly forgotten and repeated not shortly after.

But it wasn't a militia, of course.

Apparently it was a Spanish boy who liked to dress up like a girl.

Whether he/she/it was trans, or merely had a trans in his car, is presently unknown.

Sadly, johnforbes is already regurgitating Gosar's debunked lie about the shooter being a "transexual leftist illegal alien."

How johnny has survived this long being so gullible is a mystery. He must live with his mother. She makes sure he wears his helmet every day.

Maybe you people should put more effort into banning guns from schools than you do banning books from schools.

johnforbes STILL tries to distract from the tragedy of guns in America by pretending non sequitur comments about immigration are relevant in any way. They aren't. johnny, like all Republicans, doesn't dare respond to anything actually relevant to the issue.

Whether the shooter was a citizen or an "illegal" has nothing to do with the gun massacre issue. Virtually all mass shootings in America are committed by citizens.

In fact, if the guy was not a citizen, then why haven't Republicans done anything to close all the loopholes that allow just anyone to easily buy a gun? One would think that a complete lack of a U.S. identity should be enough to disqualify a buyer of high capacity weapons with no other purpose than to kill people. But Republicans won't even institute universal background checks to prevent gun violence, let alone plug loopholes in existing laws. This despite the fact that 88% of Americans want universal background checks.

So this sort of tragedy is the direct responsibility of just 50 Republicans in the Senate who won't even let a background check bill be voted on. Did you see Ted Cruz literally fleeing from reporters asking questions he doesn't dare answer?

How about the insanity of the latest Republican 'solution' to school shootings where they want to have only one door in a school for entrance and exit? Imagine the first fire in a school building where 500 kids all try to escape at once through a single door that's 400 feet from their classroom. Care to wager how many don't even make it to the door? And these are the same Republicans passing laws against abortion because of how much they claim they care so much about children.
