He tried to tell the audience, at the time, it was a joke, but they weren't having it....

It would be a cartoonish oversimplification to view me as a Republican.
I'm a conservative, free enterprise-loving person bringing enlightenment to benighted souls such as Clown, as he grovels in his hovel unable to shovel a way out.

Of course, johnforbes votes a straight Republican Party ticket, he can't repudiate anyone bearing a Republican affiliation regardless of how vile, he never has any evidence to back up any of his beliefs, and he attacks every Democrat in the news, regardless of what they stand for.
johnforbes' stated political views couldn't get any more cartoonish. He shows us every day just how simple, childish, and cartoonish his thoughts are.

But Elkin has good reason not to be humble here.
After all, Elkin was the first member of his family to break into triple digits on an IQ test.
