"Got Gold?
By RealJustme - Sun Aug 01, 2021 6:11 pm
Never in America's history has inflation climbed so fast as it has since Biden was elected. I told you so, don't blame me I voted for Trump."-RealTool
So seven months ago RealTool told us all to buy gold....AGAIN. At the time it was at $1810 per ounce. Now it is at $1900 per ounce.
So gold has (finally) gone up five percent in seven months. (That's a first for RealTool who has been consistently atrocious with his investment advice, losing money every time) Unfortunately, gold is still well below the $2060/ounce price of two years ago (August 2020) when he was also here telling people to buy gold. (Read his June 19, 2020 thread again if you doubt me.
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=14146)
Yes, he told us so, and if we had listened in 2020, we would all STILL be down 7.6% in our gold investment just like he is over that time. At least he is finally starting to dig himself out of that investment hole.
So RealTool's long term investment strategy is to predict something for purely partisan purposes, and then wait out a few years of losses on those predictions until his prediction finally 'comes true'. (Wow, how does he do it?

)
RealTool has the same success rate as the best internet psychics who do the same thing he does. Meanwhile, he has missed out on all the other opportunities that he could have invested in that would have made money over those two or three years.
As always, thanks for nothin', Tool.
Get back to us when gold finally goes over $2060 and you can then claim that your investment went exactly nowhere in two years. I gotta admit, that would be a big improvement in your investment results compared to your usual massive losses.

Clown got no gold, so sad, too bad. Should have listened to me.

Here's RealTool back again trying to convince us that his 7.9% loss on his gold since he told us in August 2020 to buy at $2060 is some sort of financial win. Imagine how large his usual losses must be for him to be smug about that loss.
Now compare it to examples of growth of my stocks since August 1, 2020:
TSLA up 200% from $286 to $857
MSFT up 40% from $205 to $287
NVDA up 122% from $106 to $236
COST up 57% from $325 to $512
MVIS up 69% from $2.05 to $3.47
And what makes that even better, I made over $11,000 on the MVIS selling covered calls on the way down from its high. Not bad for a $680 investment, eh, Tool? Try to imagine what that's like.
Notice the difference between my investments and RealTool's partisan speculation. My investments are "up" while his is "down" 7.6%
I wonder if RealTool can figure this out yet, that his insistence on putting his money into Partisan Hate Retirement Systems is causing him to look forward to a dismal retirement. It's a good thing I didn't listen to him, isn't it.
But go ahead and cackle, dimwit. Keep trying to convince yourself that you're killing it.

I'm sticking with my strategy which has worked like a charm all year.
Every day, I lose enough money to buy a luxury auto.
Other days, just to shake it up, I lose enough money to buy a nice house.

Even the teacher's unions are starting to buy gold. You snooze, you lose.

You really should stop snoozing so much, Tool, and instead study up on metals investing.
Then you might not be losing all the time.

Too late, you should have "got" gold.

Woohoo! Today RealTool is only down 5% from 18 months ago!
It's never "too late" to educate yourself, Tool.
You don't have to rely on dumb luck to make money, waiting years for a partisan hunch to pay off, the way you do now.
You don't have to live as an ignoramus your whole life, as you do now.

Oops, I congratulated RealTool too soon.
He is still down about 10% from 18 months ago since gold went into the crapper today, down nearly $70.

johnny, please stop reminiscing about your tawdry days of R & R in Frisco.
No one is interested in what you did to the male interns at the local YMCA.

The staffers -- ever alert to trends on the Worldwide Interwebs -- have spotted a gem.
This gem of a post fairly sparkles with the wit and wisdom for which Mr. Forbes is widely and justifiably known:
During his tenure in tawdry Frisco, Clownslacker was down more often than a Clinton intern.

Time to check in on RealTool's investment advice.
When he started this thread, gold was at $1893. Today it is at $1920-- a gain of $27 or 1.4%! in five weeks. Wow...
Now if he had taken his gold money and invested in the stocks I gave him two days later, he would have done a bit better:
TSLA then- $857-- TSLA today $1099--- a gain of $242 or +28%
MSFT then- $287 - MSFT today $315----a gain of $28 or +9.75%
NVDA then- $236 - NVDA today $286--- a gain of $50 or +21%
COST then- $512- COST today $570---- a gain of $58 or +11%
MVIS then- $3.47- MVIS today $5.55--- a gain of $2.08 or +60%
RealTool is of course smug about his 1.4% gain instead of the 10%-60% gains he could have had over the same five weeks if he wasn't still investing with Partisan Hate Retirement Systems. After all, 1.4% is gargantuan when compared to his usual 10%-40% losses.
No doubt RealTool is sitting at home with a smirk on his face. He just can't figure out why there are trickles of salty water running down his cheeks.

Clownslacker has reason to be smug.
Given his mobile home in the heart of Landfill Estates, in the bustling hub of Lower Bugtussle, he has life by the short hairs.
But let's not dwell on Clown's alopecia.

RealTool makes an ass of himself (again) and what does johnforbes do?
He supports RealTool and impotently attacks the demonstrably smarter person instead, even though johnny knows perfectly well that Tool is a partisan fool. (just like johnny is)
It's what fellow asses do for each other. (Birds of a feather and all that.)
