Maggie Haberman, Washington correspondent for The New York Times, said in a tweet here on June 1, 2021: “ Trump has been telling a number of people he’s in contact with that he expects he will get reinstated by August (no that isn’t how it works but simply sharing the information).”

The whole bureaucratic structure -- the Swamp -- was against Trump, and that included of course RINOs like McConnell and Ryan and Romney.

The reason Democrats don't want audits is that they surely know covid served as an excuse for mail ballots and extensions of time (as in PA) to count them, so Democrats know many things were done in addition to media bias to "fortify" the election.
