Perhaps the two shots are not as good as the scientists believed?

Yes, he said N95s were efficacious, such as in medical settings. He was right. What has that got to do with any mask that slows down the 'jet stream' ejections of virus from coughs, sneezes, laughter, singing, and talking in closed spaces? If COVID can travel on air for over 6 feet from an unmasked person, then you need to reduce the speed of those ejections of virus so they can't travel so far. Everyday masks will also filter SOME of the virus simply because some of it sticks to the fabric before it escapes. This reduces ambient virus particle counts.
