Climate Change Pledge to Clowntoker

I pledge to never again criticize climate czar Kerry if Clown can arrange transport to climate conferences aboard the Kerry family Gulfstream jet.

Thoughts?

I pledge to never again call johnforbes a fucking imbecile if he can tell me a realistic way for Kerry to get to Scotland without flying by jet.

Clown is getting kilt on this Scotland thread.

Kerry could easily get to Scotland by buying a business-class ticket on a commercial jet.

Instead, he boards either a federal jet or his family Gulfstream, which emits more metric tons of carbon dioxide than Clownslacker's Volkswagen emits.

Kerry could take a rowboat or a kayak...
I understand some people actually row those things around the world..! :O

Great idea!

Kerry could either fly business class on a commercial jet.

Oar he could row over.

It never occurs to johnflubs that currently limited commercial flights might not even go where Kerry needs to go on the schedule that Kerry needs to adhere to.

Besides, I wouldn't want to fly on any commercial flight that might become the target of the Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, or any other violent, drooling Trump supporters that johnforbes supports. As long as Kerry is on his own plane, we are all safer and will get through the airport in much less time.

Besides, johnforbes was never bothered in the least that Trump flew a massive 747 regularly on the taxpayer's dime for the ridiculous purposes of attending political rallies and playing golf at one of his courses....the only places that would give him a tee time. johnforbes sees no irony in his support of Trump dumping exponentially more tons of carbon into the atmosphere for his own entertainment and johnny's fake outrage over Kerry polluting far less in a time-critical global crisis in the service of mankind.

Trump was not an energy hypocrite as Kerry was, and is.

Was Clown saying that Kerry couldn't be as slow to move as Heinz Ketchup?

See? johnfoibles isn't the least bit bothered by flying entire jets and dumping carbon into the atmosphere for personal benefit. He just said so again. He actually supports and makes excuses for more egregious cases of it as in Trump's case.

But johnny still feels compelled to criticize Kerry for doing something for the benefit of mankind which he actually supports members of his own party doing for personal pleasure on taxpayer money. I guess johnny is only upset when someone tries to help others instead of being a selfish asshole like himself. It makes him feel guilty and he tries to avoid that feeling at all costs.....except by doing the right thing, of course. johnny doesn't do that.

johnforbes tells us all this as though anyone gives a flying fuck about what a purely partisan hypocrite thinks about Kerry.

Clown called Kerry a partisan hypocrite, and that was correct.

Flying an enormous plane is always costly in many ways, but it becomes far more hypocritical when a virtue signal leftist such as Kerry does it.

Clown called johnforbes a big turd selfish asshole, and that was correct.

Dumping big turds is always costly in many ways, but it becomes far more hypocritical when a fetid turd like johnny pretends anyone cares about his fake outrage over hypocrisy, his party's fundamental MO.

I wonder where johnforbes stands with his 'climate pledge' these days?

He's probably out sweating like a pig running in the record heat covering much of the country.

When extreme cold spells hit (as predicted by climate change models) johnny pretended the record cold in places like Texas causing widespread disaster and Ted Cruz to flee to Mexico is just a little fluke of weather and a joke, just like the previous six or eight flukes of weather from the previous ten years.

But when extreme heat hits much of the country, johnforbes is mysteriously silent about global warming.

I wonder why that is? Where is his partisan smart mouth now? Why isn't he here ridiculing global warming because of the predictions?

https://www.weather.gov/forecastmaps
(The red and yellow portions of the map are temps in the 90s and 100s, many being record highs for this time of year. Not to mention the unusual flooding expected in parts of the South and the drought it's causing in the southwest.)

johnny....? Thoughts?

"I'm no scientist, but I have observed that it tends to get hot during the summer."-johnflubs

Nobody would confuse johnforbes with a scientist. They wouldn't even confuse him with a high school graduate since he seems oblivious of the fact that summer hasn't even started yet and won't start for another two weeks almost.

But at least he slipped up and admitted that (due to global warming) we're having extreme summer weather in the spring these days.

Clown is no scientist.

I said it gets hot in summer, and it does.

I didn't say that summer had technically started, but that aside we have already had days of 90 F.

In an odd twist of fate, Clown's IQ is 90.

So now johnforbes' defense of his ignorance isn't just his pleading willful ignorance.

No, now he says his defense of his ignorant stance on global warming is just whatever irrelevant non sequitur facts he can come up with.

What a dishonest partisan imbecile.

Galileo opposed the scientific establishment of his day.

Today, Twitter and YouTube and Facebook ban any questions about the covid shots, even when evidence appears that kids are experiencing myocarditis at alarming rates after the shot.

Fauci is the Inquisistion of today, and any opposed comment is censored.

In fact, Clownslacker's own life story was recounted in the movie "Francis the Talking Mule."

"I'm no scientist, but I have observed that it tends to get hot during the summer."-john"dunderhead"forbes

Well, then let's see what scientists are saying about the heat, shall we?

"It might be tempting to shrug at the scorching weather across large swaths of the West. This just in: It gets hot in the summer. <---[johnforbes was interviewed for this article?]

But this record-setting heat wave's remarkable power, size and unusually early appearance is giving meteorologists and climate experts yet more cause for concern about the routinization of extreme weather in an era of climate change.

These sprawling, persistent high-pressure zones popularly called "heat domes" are relatively common in later summer months. This current system is different.

"It's not only unusual for June, but it is pretty extreme even in absolute terms," says Daniel Swain, climate scientist at the UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability. "It would be a pretty extreme event for August," Swain says, when these typically occur.

This heat dome's reach is remarkable, too: It has set record highs stretching from the Great Plains to coastal California. And these aren't just records for that specific date or month, but in a few spots, they are records for the singularly hottest day in the entire period of record, sometimes stretching back 100 to 150 years. "That's a pretty big deal," Swain says.

"It's unusual in that it's more intense in terms of the maximum temperature," says Alison Bridger, a professor in the Meteorology and Climate Science department at San Jose State University. "And how widespread the impact is."

For example, Palm Springs, Calif., recently hit 123 degrees, equaling its highest recorded temperature.

Las Vegas set a daily record of 114 degrees. Phoenix reached a record 118 degrees, the earliest the city has hit that high a mark. It broke the previous record of 114 set in 2015.

Sacramento, Calif., set a new daily record of 109 degrees. The National Weather Service just extended its excessive heat warning through Sunday night in the Central Valley and parts of northern California.

Denver this week hit 100 for three straight days, the earliest date of such a streak on record, tweeted meteorologist Bob Henson. He noted that all of the 100-degree streaks in Denver's 150 years of climate record keeping have occurred in the last three decades.

And in the Plains, several cities including Omaha, Neb., set records, including a daily record high of 105 degrees. That breaks an Omaha daily record set in 1918.

This current heat dome "fits with climate change ideas, global warming, meaning that it's just a little bit warmer than it would have been last year," Bridger says. "And if we have this next year, it'll be just a little bit warmer again."

It's also coinciding with and worsening record drought across big parts of the West. These two things, Daniel Swain says, are now making each other worse.

"The drought is leading to extremely low soil moisture, which is making it easier for these high pressure systems to generate extreme heat waves because more of the sun's energy is going into heating the atmosphere rather than evaporating nonexistent water in the soil."

And that is only making things hotter and drier.

"That's sort of the vicious cycle of drought and extreme heat in a warming climate," he says.
It's more evidence of human-caused climate change."-NPR

Every day johnforbes loses a bit more of his pathetic excuse for his willful ignorance.

You're welcome, as always, johnny.
