Fauci lied about that, and later lied about herd immunity, and he admitted both lies, saying they were intended to be constructive lies.

Fauci gave us public health policy, which is not the same thing as hard science. Science can say one thing and public health policy to prevent widespread panics can say another without either being a lie. Dishonest partisan fuckheads like you will never understand that the purpose of public health policy is to protect the greatest number of people at risk at a particular point in time with the resources available at that time. Everything Fauci said was true on the day he said it. That does not mean it will necessarily be true the following day when the reality of a pandemic changes and more data are collected and more PPE are produced for the general population after frontline workers receive their needed PPE.
