Will we be able to download the files?

Yes! The download function will be returned. The tech team is currently working towards re-encoding videos to allow for faster load times, after this is completed download capabilities will come as well. Please keep in mind that the site is literally being constantly added to, fixed, and code tweaked. In normal circumstances we would wait until everything was perfect then launch, but the tech team is trying to push out every single development as they code them.

Any eta on when we will be able to download from homeclips?

Re-encoding for fast loading has been completed, and the tech guys are currently working on downloading capabilities. I cannot give an exact time for this as issues may arise along the way, however I will update you as soon as I hear that this feature has been restored.

would love to see the upload of file functionality be returned-also, fix the previous day/next day function(tad confused are we?) appears that more than a few of the previous contributors have left off adding vids-rebuilding is going to be tough...

It's September, and still unable to download homeclips videos.
When, if ever, will this again be available?

I apologize that it has taken awhile in order to get download functionality back to HCs, however I do know that it is currently being worked on. I will get a status update from the tech team and get back to you with further details on this.

just have to say homeclips since coming back has not been the same as it used to be. maybe im the only 1 thinking this. seemed there was always more than 3 vids daily. and the vids just dont seem as good. did we lose all those people who used to contribute? just not impressed. just my opinion

Is this the reason why whenever I click on a link in Homeclips, I hear the audio portion but all I see is a green screen?

I agree on the homeclips being significantly less than before-quite a bit of lost functionality, esp. download capability, and ye, the amount of contributions is WAY down from before. Used to be at least one vid that was superb with 2 or 3 excellent just about every day-hard to find that when yuou only get three vids a day...not sure how homeclips can get more participation_time for some innovative thinking_perhaps a special submittal contest...

Texmati, you should not have any technical issues like this on the site, the videos should be able to be viewed without an issue. Please let me know what browser you are using and if you are seeing any error messages.

As far as content, it will take some time before we get the large amount of contributions back as the site has suffered some serious unforeseen issues as many of you know. However, as you have likely already noticed, the submissions are getting better and some favorites are already back and posting! Any ideas on special contests are more than welcomed, please let us know if you have any.

Hey there Guys!. We are still working on this. Right after the instant titflash feature is implemented, we will get the download links populated onto homeclips. Should be within the next couple of days.

September 21- still waiting for download capability

Titflash is taking a little longer than expected because of the bells and whistles we need to implement into it. The homeclips download feature has not been forgotten. Thank you for your patience.

Are we ever going to be able to down load? Something is not right in this instance...

How about an update. Been over 2 weeks and still no downloads and no update on status. Are we ever going to get download capability back?
