The government still holds 500 million shares of GM stock and needs to sell them for about $53 each to recover its entire $49.5 billion bailout.

Treasury spokesman Matt Anderson said the costs were still far less than some predicted.

Uh dude....last time i checked your Vice President candidate Paul Ryan voted for the auto industry bail out. Do you want to me to tell our readers here what other things he voted while he was in congress ? They definitely contributed to the deficits and were budget busting. Also as a side note, Romney claimed credit for saving the auto industry.

Do you want to present the whole facts next time ? That's the least we can do to make them well informed.

What's the matter Leroy you can't argue with facts ? Why do you have divert the arguments. Just answer facts with facts. You presented facts about Obama and his bail out of Detroit. And i answered back that if Obama was wrong then why did Ryan agreed with Obama and voted to bail out Detroit ? Isn't that hypocrisy ?

Leroy cannot win with facts because he is less informed. If he gets cornered he diverts the discussion or points the finger to us when he is actually describing himself.

I give Ryan credit for taking the initiative by proposing new government policies instead of criticizing Obama's.

But the idea of implementing trickle down economics now is really misguided. In the 1980s it may have worked because the baby boomers were entering their peak earning years and there was no financial leverage in the private sector. But now things are completely different. There is no pent up demand, the baby boomers are heading into retirement, the labor market is getting creamed by low cost labor, and people are deleveraging.

And now Ryan want's to cut medicare benefits, and a whole host of other government programs that will hammer the middle class while lowering taxes on the wealthy?

Good luck with that one...

The only person cutting Medicare is Obama, he's cut a lot from it to pay for ObamaCare. If you actually looked at Ryan's plan, it doesn't change shit for people 55 and older currently, but it does gradually change it for those younger, but not as extreme as ObamaCare does.

If you guys actually took the time to read ObamaCare and the Ryan Plan instead of just pasting blog points....

Why ? Because Obama is not cutting medicare on the patients and benefits side BUT on the suppliers side. Suppliers are hospitals, big drug corporations, etc.

Again....Obama's proposal to cut Medicare IS INCLUDED IN THE PAUL RYAN BUDGET PLAN. Obama will not cut benefits of Medicare but the waste and fraud by having middle men.

What Leroy and other right wing talk radio is saying is that Obama will cut the Medicare budget is true. But what he is lying about or not saying is that Obama will cut the Medicare budget on the exorbitant payments and kickbacks to drug companies and middle men. You see the dishonesty he is telling to you right in your face ?

Even Paul Ryan agrees on the proposal cuts of Obama. HE IS INCLUDING IT IN HIS BUDGET PROPOSAL. And Romney if you google is endorsed the Paul Ryan during the republican primaries.

The ads you see that the republicans are running that Obama will cut medicare on seniors are false and lies. How could it be a lie when even their Vice President candidate Paul Ryan includes the Obama medicare cuts to his own budget proposals.

They decided to attack first on Medicare with these ads because they are hoping that they will be the FIRST ONES to paint an image on senior voters mind that Obama is out to cut their medicare.

Both of these sites are non partisan and they flag any politicians both democrats and republicans who lie to the voting public. As you will see on the Politifact site Paul Ryan confirmed to them that he uses the same approach of cuts that Obama is using to save $700 billion.
