The democrats thought they could hold the Republicans and Trump hostage and force them to give liberal cities a 800 billion dollar handout as they were demanding, or else no COVID relief.

Trump simply said "I'm not paying your ransom, if it's not related to COVID relief, you're not getting a dime" Trump then provide real COVID relief at a fraction of the costs Democrats were demanding...then dared the Democrats to sue to stop that relief from getting to hurting Americans.

Democrats are melting down and there's not a damn thing they can do about it except whine. Since Congress can't come to an agreement, Americans hurting won't get any help if they sue to stop the aid Trump authorized. Trump dared them to do it.

Trump came up with five weeks of relief money by stealing it from other places, and that's all, which is unlikely. The other stuff is smoke and mirrors that will never happen because we have a Constitution that doesn't allow it. But I'm sure we'll all "consider" Trump's silly posturing, just like the rest of hi Administration was told to do.

I wonder why Trump supporters hate our Constitution this way.

With Obama, there was no crisis of illegals -- just some kids too lazy to become legal.

With Trump, the economy is in a crisis, and the unemployment had to be resolved, and a brief payroll tax suspension.

I was surprised that the Supreme Court, with spineless Roberts, was too weak to even point out that Obama had zero constitutional authority.

I don't like executive orders generally -- never did. They smack of executive fiat.
