Slavery and the Democrats

Blacks were not enslaved because they were black, but because they were available.

Slavery has existed in the world for thousands of years.

Whites enslaved whites in Europe for centuries before the first black was brought to the Western hemisphere

Asians enslaved Europeans.

Asians enslaved other Asians.

Africans enslaved other Africans and even today, in North Africa blacks continue to enslave other blacks. Slavery has existed since the Old Testament Biblical times.

A bit of history that is conveniently ignored; between 1500 and the 1860's at least 12 million Africans were brought to the ‘New World’ of the Americas.

Of these 12 million forced into slavery, less than 500,000 were brought to North America. The remaining 2,500,000 Africans went to South America and the Caribbean. By the mid-1600's Europeans were outnumbered by Africans in cities such as Mexico City, Havana and Lima.

The first legal slave owner in American history was a black tobacco farmer named Anthony Johnson; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_J ... (colonist)

South Carolina’s largest slave holder in 1860 was a black plantation owner named William Ellison; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Ellison

American Indians owned thousands of black slaves; http://www.smithsonianmag.com/history/a ... s-7986049/

In 1830 there were 3,775 free black people who owned 12,740 black slaves; http://www.ironbarkresources.com/slaves ... aves05.htm

Many black slaves were allowed to hold jobs, own businesses and own real estate;

Brutal black on black slavery was common in Africa for thousands of years; https://townhall.com/columnists/michael ... ry-n876052

Most slaves brought from Africa to America were purchased from black slave owners; http://www.digitalhistory.uh.edu/disp_t ... 2&psid=445

White people ended legal chattel slavery; This is a useless fact. Since black slaves couldn’t vote and had no rights, it would have been impossible for them to end slavery.

Well, I'm still waiting for johnforbes to offer some of his "thoughts" to let us know why he felt compelled to start this thread.

Does johnforbes EVER have a point to his posts? Does johnforbes EVER have a thought in his vacuous head?

(Those are obviously rhetorical questions. johnforbes isn't known as a "dimwit" for nothing.)

Yes, I felt a duty to help educate Clownslacker.

Given the vast vacuum inside Clown's deformed dome-like skull, it is a daunting task.

So you're saying your thread has no point.

That's what I thought because they never have one, do they.

Sorry you have no thoughts in your head, johnny. It must be really embarrassing in social situations.

(I mean social situations not involving conservatives, of course.)

No, I think trying to educate Clownslacker is a worthwhile endeavor.

Quixotic, of course, but ...

It's a bit disturbing that johnforbes' only "thoughts" on this forum are all about me.

I understand that I am the most "thought-worthy" thing in his life, but I wish he would get a life of his own.

No, it was not intended as a commentary on the vast emptiness inside Clownslacker's deformed dome.

The reference was more broad -- to Clown's ilk, socialists like young master Elkin, or more mature deranged Democrats like Bernie.

Okay, so your only thoughts on this forum are about me, elklindo, and "mature" old guys.

That's really getting creepy, johnny.

What is it with these closeted conservatives anyway? Why do they continue to live these hollow lives of anguished charade?

No, it is about your ilk.

Now, with respect to your ilk being creepy, no argument there.

Johnnie...........you seriously have no idea what people are dealing with in their personal lives.

So be nice to everyone.

And learn from Trump...."nobody likes me"

It is absolutely true that people have no idea what others are dealing with in their lives.

But Democrats still operate every day by wild and intentionally false claims of racism.

Democrats still function daily by preaching hatred of Trump and of the half of America which voted him in.

Dems really are that ignorant.

You're mistaken Johnnie. Democrats don't hate Trump.

Democrats hate what Trump has done to our country. The botched coronavirus response and the economy in tatters due to his gross incompetence.

This is the guy who had his campaign manager share intel with the Russians. When will he ever collude with America?

Elkin, the modern Left hates America.

Modern Democrats love the fact that anarchists are looting and burning Portland, Seattle, etc.

The main people handling the covid crisis were Fauci and Birx, both Democrats.

Democrat governors, like Cuomo of NY and Wolf of PA, made very dumb nursing home decisions which killed people.

Democrat governors want endless lockdowns to ruin the economy and they hope this will get Trump out of office.

Trump has always and will in the future be fighting harder against releasing his taxes than he has against COVID-19.

Maybe this guy should think about colluding with America for once...
