Orange Baboon, Do Not Militarize The Military

The Founders of the United States feared the use of military power to suppress democratic freedoms, which is why, in the Declaration of Independence, they accused George III of “affecting to render the military superior to the civil power.” But they also created a system with wide emergency powers, to include the Insurrection Act of 1807. While the use of the militia—today’s National Guard, when under state rather than federal control—for the maintenance of order was one thing, the use of the regular armed forces was something very different.

Snake, please stop judging people by skin tone.
That is racism.
Also, if you think Trump is dumb, then why aren't you a billionaire?
It is because you are not smart enough, isn't it?

"Also, if you think Trump is dumb, then why aren't you a billionaire?

Criminy, johnny, El Chapo was a billionaire, but it wasn't because he was "smart enough".
Your value system is seriously fucked up.
When Trump relied on his 'smarts' he was broke, had squandered his inheritance, and was $200,000,000 in debt, according to Ivanka in the 1990s.
Then he started laundering money for Russian oligarchs and criminals and he became 'successful' by johnforbes' standards.
The second flaw in the logic of johnny's idiotic argument is that he assumes everyone who is "smart enough" makes gobs of money. He literally can't imagine anyone freely choosing to do something else with their lives. Sadly, the pursuit of more money has always been johnny's sole purpose in life.

I don't necessarily think the average billionaire could beat me on "Jeopardy!" and I'm fairly confident neither Gates nor Ellison could.
But getting rich is a very common goal, and you can see socialists like the Obamas clearly aspire to live in mansions and play golf on private courses (as Barry does).
If I were sufficiency savvy, or you were, we would be billionaires.
We aren't because we aren't sharp enough.

I see, so you aren't "smart enough" to be a billionaire but you believe you are smarter that Gates and Ellison.
See anything wrong with your silly argument about being "smart enough" johnny?
So now you changed your metric to being "savvy enough" instead of "smart enough" while pretending they are the same thing. You're desperately grasping for something that doesn't sound as foolish as your initial foolishness.
I can tell you that if I ever spent time collecting $100 million in wealth, I wouldn't spend any more of my life collecting more wealth, even if I were "smart enough" to collect a billion. Everyone isn't as foolish as you are, johnny.
Possessing a billion is meaningless to almost every human being and possessing $2 billion would be an even bigger waste of life. Apparently it isn't to you, but you'll understand the closer you get to death.
People who pursue that kind of money are not really pursuing the money. They want something else, and it's something I don't want and never have wanted. I never wanted to become someone like Trump and I would consider my life a failure if I had. I wouldn't change places with Trump "for all the money in the world" as we used to say when we were children, and you wouldn't either. So stop holding up his exaggerated and ill-gotten wealth as something admirable or worthy of respect. It isn't, but the fact you believe it is is just embarrassing.

No, I am not a billionaire. But, as I posted Once before, I have no money worries. John touts his stock market expertise and stocks have been good to me also. I subscribe o Warren Buffet's buy and hold philosophy. One stock that has been very good to me was Praxair (now Linde.). I bought it in 1994 (Dad gave me the heads up) and held it.

Actually, I don't tout my stock market expertise.
Any rational person who has invested for decades will probably have been humbled many times.
My strong suit as an investor is buying steadily and almost never selling.

Liberals continue to lose brain matter. Look at the subject of this one, a liberals asking the President not to militarize the military. There was a time even liberals would giggle at that really stupid request.

Johnnie....conservatives hate Obama for one reason and liberals hate Trump for the other.
Liberals hate Trump becuase he's racist.
You hate Obama becuase you ARE racists.
BTW....do you really need to be "smart" to become a billionare? So what does "smart" mean in that context?
Fuck...I could have inherited hundreds of millions of dollars like Trump did decades ago and invested it into a simple S&P 500 index fund and would have been much much more wealthier than Trump buy doing absolutely NOTHING. Now would that make me "smart?"

Come on, Elkin, we both know there are many definitions of "smart."
People who watch golf, or tennis, or any sport comment on some athlete who has played it "smart."
It takes intellect -- a practical kind, a feel -- to become a billionaire.
Elkin isn't smart enough to become one, nor am I.

Wow, johnny, you keep reaching and squirming, desperately trying to make your silly comment sound smart.
But you don't seem to have the intellect -- the practical kind of feel -- to make something so silly somehow seem reasonable.
If only they taught a course in semantics at your local community college.

It is simply true there are different kinds of intelligence.
How many physics professors do the plumbing and electrical work in their own houses?
How many economists repair their own cars?
Eric Hoffer had no formal education at all but wrote excellent books.

Unfortunately common sense is no longer common....Johnnie is a shining example.
Trump inherited hundreds of millions of dollars from his father, ran casinos and an airline into the ground. Then ironically claimed that Buffett made a mistake by selling airline companies from Berkshire's equity portfolio. And we are all supposed to believe Trump is smart....at least according to Johnnie?

Elkin knows very well that Trump got a loan of 1 million to start his business.
Elkin is so naïve he believes every business succeeds, and that casinos and Atlantic City never went on the decline.
But that is why we celebrate Elkin's career here as Dumbest Person on the Interwebs.

Now Johnnie is insinuating that Trump became a billionare by running a magazine, airline and casinos into the ground with a 1 million dollar loan from Fred?
Go figure....

Elkin, please refresh your talking points.
Go learn about economic cycles.
A town like Atlantic City was nothing, had a boom, turned into nothing, had a boom with casino gambling, and then the Internet and Indian casinos destroyed that.
A businessman adapts, and Trump did.

He sure did.
When his legitimate businesses all failed, he turned to crime and got rich on money laundering and TV game shows for stupid people.
GENIUS!!!

As a corollary.....I'll add in Trump "university" for good measure.

If Elkin had attended Trump University -- or any university for that matter -- we would all be better off.

I've never slammed Elkin for his dark decade in the depraved and demented dens of downtown Frisco, nor for his simpering sissy system.
It is his lazy Marxism that I have critiqued.

Someone just pull the plug or cut the connection.....

I do not drink.
Nor have I ever condemned Elkin for his seasons of simpering sissydom in sleazy Frisco.
