Hippocrates said "First do no harm."

In this case, America did the harm first by destroying 26.5 million jobs and leaving its own economy in smoking ruins.

A chain of bankruptcy, depression, divorce, suicide, foreclosure, alcoholism, etc will follow.

Yes, the 50k deaths from this virus were bad, but America loses the same number to suicide every year.

We lose 600k to cancer, and the same number to ht disease every year.

But we don't hurt hundreds of millions of innocent people along the way.

johnny, Hypocrites was not an economist and he wasn't talking about economics.

You are making the same type of mistake Christians make when they talk about "hell" in the Bible. They take an ancient language text and translate it into a modern language without understanding the meanings of the words at the time they were written or the semantic limitations of the words at the time they were written.

Christians need to learn that there is no mention in the Bible of a place of eternal damnation and fire. They simply choose to interpret the translation of the ancient texts however they choose to fit their made up beliefs.

You are doing the same thing.

Knock it off.

And no, Hypocrites didn't want you to become a hypocrite either. Somewhere along the way you got to thinking it was noble or something.
