What ever happened to "state rights"

It looks like the fucking stark raving lunatic of a president now has this idea in his skull that he has "TOTAL AUTHORITY" to force states to re-open the government.

So now we have Trump claiming that he is now the "King of America"?

Apparently Trump is using the constitution as toilet paper.

Imagine if Obama went out in some stark raving bonkers rant at a press conference claiming that he had "TOTAL AUTHORITY"? Sean Hannity would have been shitting white hot tire irons and the outrage of right wing blogosphere would have blown up the space time continuum.

Even if you take a Left Wing fellow such as Wolf in PA, he needs business to reopen so he gets tax revenue so he can waste it on illegal immigrants.

Barack Obama finally endorsed Joe Biden …
Joe Biden immediately responded,
saying, "I appreciate the endorsement from Barclay Obama, the young Senator from Illinois...!"

Fox News anchor Bret Baier on Tuesday called out the "hypocrisy" of President Trump's claim the day before that he has "total" authority when it comes to reopening the nation's economy, saying that conservative heads would have "exploded" had former President Obama said the same thing.

Fox, owned by Disney, has a large number of Trump haters on air now.

Not as many as deranged MSNBC or CNN or the Huff Post -- the types of leftist sites Elkin likes.

Funny, I thought if you have a large number of Trump lovers on air, you would also have to put on some Trump haters to make it fair and balanced. Wouldn't you say so, johnny?

Simple question. See if you can answer it.

Trump: "Alone I can fix it"

Trump: "I am not responsible"

Trump: "I have total authority"

Clown, there was no need for Fox to be balanced.

Almost all of the other outlets lean to the Left, and they have no balance at all.

I see, so johnforbes accepted that FOXnews lied to the world every day for years when they claimed to be fair and balanced.

Got it, johnny. I hope RealTool doesn't revoke your Republican Lunatic Membership Card for badmouthing Trump's main news source.

That's tantamount to calling Trump an easily duped unstable ignoramus.

Well, no news outlet is balanced and neutral. Unless you're looking at articles of local newspapers about a yard sale being held at this or that town on this or that date, or about a fire or car accident, everything is going to be biased. That's literally the job of a journalist: to tell about what's happening in the world and use it to explain why your political agenda is right.
If you find that a news outlet is unbiased, you've just found a politically engaged media that you happen to agree with.

In the modern world of cable "news," that is true.

However, if you look at the two classic books on real journalism, both by Walter Lippmann (who leaned Democrat), you find the actual purpose of journalism.

It isn't "speaking truth to power," as most modern reporters think.

The actual purpose is to make sense of the buzz of information in the world and help inform citizens.

Trump before: "I have total authority."

Trump after: "Nothing is my fault."

John Forbes: but.....but....Obama. Hillary's emails.
