Trump acted faster against the imaginary threat of a migrant caravan than the actual threat of a coronavirus pandemic.

A group of illegal immigrants threatening to cross our border illegally is a real threat.

More accurately , the migrant caravan is a "hoax threat" to a certain segment of the population. Even more accurately, it was just nothing more than red meat to Trump's base.
