The DNC has lost most of their leverage to employ the IRS, DOJ, FBI, CIA, FEC, et al. to target, oppress and intimidate political opponents. Money laundered via the Clinton Foundation and circulated into the DNC has all but stopped. Other countries and corporations have stopped donating the 100's of millions to the Clinton Foundation, since there no longer any influence to be purchased.
The DNC slush fund has dried up and they can no longer count on the swamp to take out foes like they did under Obama. Not even Biden's swamp whistle blower had the federal government's support to take out Trump. The DNC shoot their last wad and it missed it's mark, now they're stuck with the nasty stain which has exposed them.
