Harvard was looking for just such a person, and Harvard touted her as its first Native American faculty member, so there's no question that this helped her given her mediocre credentials.
Her BS is from the Univ of Houston and her JD from Rutgers. Now there's nothing whatever wrong with those schools, but Haavaard has always hired people with their noses in the air and their fingers curled around their tea cups, and doctorates from the Sorbonne are not rare even at Harvard Law.
So Warren played the reverse racism game, and she won that game, and she only got caught when seeking the presidency.
