Here, Clown and Elkin will give us their foreign policy plan for N Korea

At this point, Clown and Elkin will give us their plan for N Korea.

Every president for half a century has failed with N Korea, and Trump has accomplished more than all of them put together.

But surely Clown and Elkin have their own plan for N Korea.

Good thread.

I'm confident that both Clown and Elkin have read George F. Kennan and Hans J. Morgenthau and all the deep thinkers on foreign policy.

Surely they have deep thoughts on how to handle N Korea?

Another day and yet Clown and Elkin still have not disclosed their plan for North Korea.

I would love to tell you my plan, johnny, but I'm still waiting for you to give me a simple explanation of how the Mohegan Sun Casino is not a "socialist endeavor." You pretend to be better educated than I in basic economics, so give us an authoritative definition of socialism that is not met by the Mohegan Sun venture.

Otherwise, I'm afraid I don't waste my time on hypocritical clowns who refuse to do what they demand of others.

I'm not an economist, but that casino does not share profits with all who enter.

Thus, it is operated for profit.

A non-Indian casino shares profits with shareholders, and that is not socialism either.

You're welcome.

"I'm not an economist, but that casino does not share profits with all who enter."-jphnflubs

Of course it doesn't, johnny. "all who enter" are not part of the tribal community. That would be like saying China does not share its revenues with all who enter China. Well, duhhhh.
The casino does, of course, share the profits with all tribal members (citizens) who enter. It does so in the normal course of governing the community.

"A non-Indian casino shares profits with shareholders, and that is not socialism either."-johnflubs

Of course it isn't socialism, johnny. Non-Indian casinos are not owned and operated by the government and are thus capitalist endeavors.
But most Indian casinos are tribal government owned and operated. Thus they are socialist endeavors by simple definition. I already explained to you that making a profit is not limited to nor definitive of capitalism. What differs is what you do with the profit; whether it benefits just the few owners or the entire community served by the government.

I am not an economist either, but I CAN read a dictionary or an economics text. Try it sometime.
There is no charge for this basic lesson in economics that all your wasted schooling failed to endow.

You're welcome.

So why are you so desperately avoiding providing us with a definition of socialism and explaining how the Mohegan Sun Casino fails to meet that definition? You still haven't provided what was requested, so I still feel no obligation to provide you with any further enlightenment about North Korea. Until you can bring yourself to observe the basic rules of public discussion, that you must do yourself what you demand others do, you should be grateful for what free education you have already been given here.

So then you finally agree with me that a casino is a business, operates for profit, and clearly is not socialism?

Thanks for belatedly admitting I was correct.

Yes, johnny, I agree with you that a casino is a business, operates for profit, and clearly is socialism on the Mohegan reservation.

Thanks for finally admitting I am indisputably correct on this issue.

Johnnie...maybe I can explain to you in crayola.

A casino on Indian land is owned by the tribe. The tribe is the "state." The asset (casino) is owned by the tribe and respective profits go to the tribe. The casino is a state run enterprise , therefore, socialist by definition.

State socialism is a classification for any socialist political and economic perspective advocating state ownership of the means of production either as a temporary measure in the transition from capitalism to socialism, or as characteristic of socialism itself

There was a book written about johnforbes back in 1986 called Why johnny Can't Read

But as we can see by this recent report posted by johnny's father on forbes.com, he still can't read to this day.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/nataliewex ... 6f3e22e221

As you can see by the title of this article, at least his father now intends to do something about it, thank gawd.
And once he can finally read, he will be able to use a dictionary and discover just how incredibly ignorant he has been all these years.

Aside from revealing their utterly failed understanding of casinos (which do not donate the profits to all those gambling, and are not socialist), Clown and Elkin have failed to provide their foreign policy plan for N Korea.

So Clown and Elkin admit they have no better plan.

^^^^^^ ....and johnforbes folds, finally recognizing that he is wrong.

But for some reason he still refuses to provide a quotation from an authoritative source defining socialism while at the same time demanding someone else provide the discussion he wants. (while failing to contribute anything to it himself.)

Although Clown has folded more times than a lawn chair, my position on this fine thread is standing.

Where is Clown's plan for N Korea?
