Nike is going to have to eat the production and shipping costs of the 250,000 pairs of those shoes they've already delivered to shoe stores to be placed on sale on the 4th. They've asked the shoe stores to send them back, I'm betting a few of those shoe stores will hold on to them knowing their value just went up 500%.
