Snakeoil, you are going to be surprised that I agree with you that executive compensation is often far out of proportion to the social benefit.
Sure, I'm an investor and the job of a CEO is to push the company forward and to serve as a fiduciary for shareholders, but when exactly do shareholders get to vote before on the precise full nature of executive compensation?
I like computers and cell phones too, but Gates and Jobs and Bezos and the like have been rewarded far out of proportion to what they contributed to society.
But -- and this is a big but -- I do NOT want the federal government to be saying that CEO pay should be set by some bureaucrat.
So what is the answer to this?

Agree, they're way under paid for the operations they run. Michelle Obama made more than they did on a book deal. I assure you those five executives put in more hours and sweat than Michelle did on her book, it's not right and something needs to be done about it.

So she's making money talking about her time in the White House... built by slaves, she loved to say....
so in effect she is profiting from the pain of slaves …..
May be she will give all that money toward reparations, eh? Yeah Right..!

NBA players now object to the team owner being called an "owner" because it suggests they are slaves.
For 10 million or so per year, I'll play a kid game like basketball.

As always, RealTool makes up some stupid shit about Michelle and every conservative with ODS swallows it without question and obediently supports RealTool in his lie.
Conservatives are so detached from the truth they can't even recognize it any longer.

Clown once again sticks his head in the sand and refuses to look at the facts.
AP: Barack and Michelle Obama each recently sold a book in a joint deal that is bigger than any previous presidential book deal in history. They made $65 million, which is an unprecedented amount of money for a presidential memoir.
Penguin Random House, which bought the two books, confirmed reports that the bidding for world rights surpassed $65 million. That number well exceeds the industry’s already-lofty expectations about the Obamas’ literary earning power.

"Michelle Obama made more than they did [$67 million] on a book deal."-RealTool
That is made up stupid shit and your own source above proves it.
Michelle made nowhere near $67 million for her book. Not even close.
Thanks for making a fool of yourself by backing me up on this one, dumbshit.

The astounding thing is that even one person (other than, perhaps, a professional book reviewer) would ever open such a preening, self-congratulatory tome...
