Appears Obama interfered in Jussie Smollett case

The Chicago Police has requested that the Department of Justice open an investigation into Cook County state’s attorney Kim Foxx’s handling of the Jussie Smollett hate-crime-hoax case.So Obama has filled Chicago with swamp monsters but a few hardened Chicago police officers refused to let them sweep the Jussie Smollett case under the rug. Of note, the Chicago Fraternal Order of Police which represents 9,000 Police Officers has requested that the DOJ bring in someone from outside of Chicago to conduct the investigation since a former Michelle Obama staffer in the current Special Agent in Charge of the Chicago FBI office.
Foxx ultimately recused herself from the investigation, but only after telling Chicago Police Department superintendent Eddie Johnson to stop Chicago's investigation into the matter and turn the case over to the FBI at the behest of one of Smollett’s relatives and Michelle Obama's top aide, according to emails and text messages obtained by the Chicago Sun Times.
The unnamed Smollett relative was reportedly put in contact with Foxx by Tina Tchen, an attorney who served served as chief of staff to Michelle Obama and as an assistant to Barack Obama. Tchen is presently an advisor to Michelle Obama.
In an email sent just two days after Smollett falsely claimed he was jumped by a pair of Trump-supporting bigots, Foxx reached out to Tchen to let her know that she had contacted Johnson, as had previously requested.
“Spoke to Superintendent Johnson. I convinced him to reach out to FBI to ask that they take over the investigation,” Foxx wrote.
“OMG this would be a huge victory for Jussie,” Tchen wrote in response to a text message from Foxx containing the same information as was included in the email. Michelle Obama was copied on that and other emails exchanged between Tchen and Foxx.
Chicago investigators were outraged upon being told to stand down on the investigation, it's unknown how and why Johnson was overridden and Chicago retained jurisdiction of the investigation.
