California no longer affordable for majority of residence

Was reading an economic study on California and the future isn't bright. The politicians have been drawing on State pension plans to pay for perks to get them re-elected and kicking the problem of exhausting the pension plan down the road to the next politician.
Home ownership has grown so expensive that only 23% of families can afford to buy a home. Many of those already owning homes our struggling to keep up with the rising taxes and other rising costs. In the mean time, 80% of new growth in California has been made up of very low income earners (primarily Hispanics), who consume more in taxes than they pay. While tax consumers are growing in numbers, those who pay the most in taxes are leaving California in masses.
Savvy, well healed retirees are selling their homes while the homes still have value and getting the hell out of the State. California has reached the breaking point where socialism has drained the State dry but many who own expensive homes are ignoring the signs and will hang around to lose everything and continue to let the blood suckers, suck them dry before California becomes another Mexico.

Elkin, let me tell you about West Virginia.
For years, I had a weekend place there, and like you had heard every stereotype about the toothless hillybilly situation there.
What I found was scenic beauty, cheap land, low real estate prices, and my two neighbors were:
1) A former presidential cabinet member.
2) A surgeon who kept a cabin for weeknds. I met him when his Harvard Medical School newsletter was in my mailbox by mistake.
True story.

“California’s housing market in 2018 was hindered by unaffordable home prices and interest rate hikes, which combined to erode housing affordability and hamper home sales,” CAR Chief Economist Leslie Appleton-Young said in a statement.
In all, 402,705 existing single-family homes changed hands last year, compared with 524,890 in 2017, CAR reported.
The median house price for the year as a whole – or price at the midpoint of all 2018 sales – was $670,000.
The slowdown was even more pronounced in December.
The California house price increased 1.5 percent year over year in December, tied with November for the lowest price gain since February 2012. Sales, meanwhile, fell 21.6 percent year over year in December.
Report highlights for December include:
•Thirty-nine out of 51 counties posted a sales decline in December, with an average drop of 20 percent.
•Southern California posted a year-over-year sales drop of 17.8 percent, with declines of 16.3 percent in Los Angeles County, 18.3 percent in Orange County and 19.8 percent in the Inland Empire.
•Locally, Orange County’s median house price dropped from year-ago levels for the first time since the housing downturn ended more than six years ago. Orange County’s median house price was $785,000, down 0.1 percent from $785,500 in December 2017.
“The housing market continued to shift in December and drift downward as sales have fallen double digits for the past three out of four months,” said CAR President Jared Martin. “This trend is expected to continue, as potential buyers remain cautious about the murky housing market outlook and the California income demographics rapidly changes.”
Appleton-Young pointed out that those behind on their mortgages in Southern California, is at an all time high, primarily due to increasing taxes and costs associated with owning a home; with incomes unable to keep up.
This is a photo of those changing income demographics in California.

Elkin, here you are again trying to pretend you are superior to Trump voters.
So what is your age, education, and vocational experience?
What is it that makes you feel superior to those who opted to vote for Trump instead of crooked, corrupt old Hillary as you did?

Elk your statement shows just how stupid you are. That man wearing the Harley shirt owns five Harley dealerships and has a MBA from Duke University, he was interviewed about his views after that photo was taken. But you hale a 29 year old bartender who was fired from her former job for stealing others' tips as someone who can lead the country.

Apparently namandgulfdumbfuck's handlers failed to tell him that after getting tax cuts from Trump, Harley Davidson closed plants and shipped the "honest jobs" of those workers overseas anyway.
Sometime these photos just need to be explained to the dimwitted.

So tell us, Tool, what great things is Harley Davidson doing with its Trump tax breaks? How many "honest jobs" are they creating for Americans with those tax breaks? How much of that money is being invested in America?
You should be able to answer those questions if you aren't confused.
And how often does your idiotic Trump-tool shit-eating grin get you busted in the teeth?

Komrad Klown. the problem with Harley is the Union is costing them. The union is forcing them to raise prices so Harley will keep up with their demands. $30 grand for a POS bike is a bit to much. Harley is on the same road as Hostess Twinkies.
The other thing is Harley is now building all bikes to suit California emission laws.. then you have to spend a few grand undoing it.. No one like it.

Yep, their prime market (baby boomers) are either getting to old or already have a 20 year old Harley in the garage they haven't started in years. Go to a Harley dealership and a third of their parking spaces are reserved for the handicap, young people just have any interest in them.

See how namandgulfdumbfuck and RealTool scurry away from the truth about the Trump tax cuts not creating a single job at Harley-Davidson, nor has H-D invested in America in any way since the Republican tax boondoggle.
"$30 grand for a POS bike is a bit to much."-namandgulfdumbfuck
EXACTLY.
They produce noisy shit that nobody wants and they should have been allowed to fail, same as the buggy manufacturers. Instead we paid them to close a plant and move the jobs to another country so they can continue to make obsolete noisy shit. Incredible.
How do you Trump-supporting "America first" hypocrites justify your support for such idiocy?
"The other thing is Harley is now building all bikes to suit California emission laws.."-namandguflfootinhismouthdumbfuck
EXACTLY, as does every other bike manufacturer in the world if they want to sell here. Why do you hate a level playing field?
Why do you support making shit that pollutes our air, dumbfuck? How much do your handlers pay you to support poisoning our children while pretending not to hate America and Americans?
