The astounding nature of the arrest, which CNN had obviously been informed about in advance, was supposed to be political theater.

Clearly, it was intended to portray Stone as some menace to society who had to be taken into custody by 29 armed agents in body armor wielding M4s.

Absurd.

A judge let him out right away just on his signature, thus proving the absurdity of the tactics.

Meanwhile, Huma and Cheryl Mills lied about knowing about Hillary's server (as proven by their own email released by Wikileaks), and what were they charged with?

Well, they are Democrats, so they were charged with not one single thing.

The DOJ and FBI acted like red coats and remember what happened when Americans tired of the red coats' abuse of power.

I'm sure those SWAT members felt really silly being told to raid Stone's home. I can just hear their pre-raid plans. OK guys, we have a 66 year old guy with no previous crimes and no known weapons who is accused of lying, his 65 year old wife is recovering from surgery but is know to work out 3 times a week, they have no dogs but they do have 3 cats, it's unknown if the cats are aggressive. Well...what happened was Mueller got worried the Left was turning against him
because he called the Buzzfeed reporters liars...
He had to set them at ease...
So what better way to than to do a high profile arrest...but he had to show them
he was the same tough prosecutor ....So he leaked it to CNN ...then when everyone was in place
and the cameras were rolling ..He went into Stone's home like he was busting into a crack house...! :o

When Clapper lied to Congress on crystal clear digital video about whether millions of Americans had their data collected, what was he charged with?

When Mills and Abedin said they knew nada about the server, and it later turned out they knew all about it, were they charged for lies?

The FBI should have had the local police pick up Stone. They would sent one patrol car over who would have knocked on the door and asked Stone to please get dressed and come with them. They would not have been carrying automatic weapons and their pistols would have been holstered.

Mueller wanted to intimidate everyone by showing the extremes he would go to destroy their lives if they don't cooperate with him and demonstrate his unlimited power to do what ever he wants. And saved taxpayers about a 1/4 million dollars in man hours.

Apparently, in such cases, they often call the attorney and ask the guy to turn himself in.
