Themed contests

A few things come to mind on the contests, first and foremost, the locking in place routine is crazy. Nothing is worse than going to a themed contest to see the same people in the same top spots daily. New people enter and may be top five quality but suddenly they are dropped into oblivion! It is obvious certain people have fan clubs that vote early and often for them, are they voting down the competition? And other people that enter and win each time. We know of one that's three for three that would win with last minute shuffling on the final day!
Make it fair with one vote daily per ispn, and let the votes always count. A fair contest is all that's requested!

Supposedly the system was set to count only one vote per membership/account, although I would dearly love to know whether that was really the case. It shouldn't be hard to achieve from a software perspective, I would think. (Although now that I think about it that would only apply to the pay sites.) There were supposedly safeguards against systematic downvoting as well, but I don't know how they worked.

A significant part of the problem here is that most people don't vote at all, so dedicated fan clubs can probably make a big difference. I've suggested ways of making people more aware of the contest element in a previous thread here, long buried.

Best would be to include themed contests in the rule about no contributor winning more than one contest, which would broaden the winners' field.

On the themed contests anyone could vote, it wasnt a membership exclusive. "Instant erotic photo contest at the free voyeurweb" and as soon as you voted, up popped the lip prints and "girls name" thanks you for your vote! and at one point there was a write up saying you could vote three times daily but no more would count. LOL... of course with the top group rarely changing, it was rather boring except for the last minute shuffle...Gxxtxxa wins, next contest!
