Term Limits period

If there were term limits members of Congress wouldn't become multi millionaires on $175K a year. Any other citizen would be audited to find out where the corrupt money was coming from. Everyone in D.C. knows the number one way politicians launder their money through things like 10 million dollar book deals for a book not even written, it's a perk of the job. They are also given made up positions paying several million a year after they leave office where all they have to do is hold the title as they jet set around the world, it's pay back for their influence and possible future help.

Our political system is the most corrupt system in our country, especially at the Federal level. There is no other public agency where over 80% of it's members become multi millionaires in just a few years earning a public salary.

Watch for Ocasio-Cortez to get a book deal.

Ocasio-Cortez calls reporter's question racist. In December when the government was shut down and before she became a member of Congress, Cortez demanded members of Congress give up their salaries until they could get the government open. Weeks later, Cortez is now a member of Congress and the government is still shut down. When asked by a Fox reporter if she was giving up her salary until the government reopens, she snapped back that it was a racist question because it was only addressed to her not other members of Congress.

Very good question by the reporter though, what changed in a week about her stance Congress giving up their salaries until the government reopens? Could it be she was grandstanding with other people's money and though the government would be reopen before she was sworn in, of is she really that stupid that she didn't think of it when she said they should?
