DefenceOne.com just announced that Lockheed Martin has received orders for 235 F-35s which will bring the price down to about $80 billion per plane. 149 of these will go to our allies. Usually, the sale of what we consider cutting edge technology is, in reality, fast becoming old hat technology. There are rumors of a super super replacement being tested now.
Again on DefenceOne.com, the Navy is purchasing 12 Columbia Class Nuke Subs; the last to be delivered in 2040. This sub is rumored to be invisible to others and can strike anywhere in the world. No land area would be out of bounds. Cost? $6.2 billion a piece.
BTW. While I was typing this I got a tele-marketing call. The woman spoke with such a strong Chinese accent that I couldn't understand what she was saying. I had to power down my phone in can't use it until I get it checked.

Walked my dog last night, saw a big house then a blue truck, my dog peed twice on the walk. I found that I had a porch light out, the one on the left, I'll change that today.

Would that be the one on your cardboard box you live in?

Hum, I may need a light on my own cardboard box.
With the market down again today, I am planning my Thanksgiving dinner.
So far, I plan on having a glass of water, then taking a toothpick and dipping it in ketchup for the main dish.

Well..since a judge in San Francisco blocked the President 's asylum proclamation
and ordered the President to allow illegals to enter our country...
I'm hoping they have some leftover sandwiches,
and it won't be such a gloomy Thanksgiving Day here in Texas after all...

Went to Home Depot to buy a replacement bulb for my left porch light but the prices are to high, so will be walking around checking garage sales for a nice used bulb. Found a note pad that still had 4 pages with absolutely nothing on them, I pointed out the coffee stains on two of the blank pages and got it real cheap.

Very sobering. This is why we need a competent President.
I post this to show that this world of ours is much more complicated than most of us think.

Damn right it is, I've given up on trying to change the time on my VHS player. I followed the instructions to a tee but yet I can't figure it out. My nephew from New York gave it try a couple of year ago and he couldn't get the clock to change either. To top it off I just bought a new Acura which uses a touchpad to control everything, it's even more complicated than the VHS player, so I have shinny new SUV that I can't even change the channels of the radio on, don't even think about using the touchpad to use the navigation system, it's back to a folded map. I agree with snake this world is getting so damn complicated.

I can use my CD player on my new Jeep just fine, and have been listening to all
my Diana Krall CDs…(kinda reminds me of the late great Julie London)...
I've been trying to set up the Bluetooth iPhone connection for the past 3months but it won't stay connected..

Speaking of Military upgrade I just bought a brand new DD 214 with 8 40 round clips, and 2 30 round magazines.
This makes at lest 8 DD 214s that I have now..
FYI I found several old used LED lights made for cardboard boxes if anyone wants em.. They come with a remote 1 used battery and they blink different colors

"Speaking of Military upgrade I just bought a brand new DD 214..."namandgulfdumbfuck
It figures namandgulf would have to buy black market upgraded military separation papers that now show he was honorably discharged, as opposed to his actual DD 214 that showed his dishonorable discharge after going AWOL on a loud farting motorcycle. :o
But do you really need so many hair clips and PEOPLE magazines?

I was recently asked to show my DD 214 and I told the woman I couldn't do that in public. This whole world is getting so damn complicated, who in the hell produces their DD 214 in public?

Snakeoil, you can appreciate the music of Julie London -- or the plays of Shakespeare, or the geometry of Euclid -- at any age.
As to my own age, I am younger than springtime.

I'll have to leave the gay references to those who know the lifestyle, such as Clown and Elkin.
