Presidential Elections

Just curious, If the GOP has the best platform and performance why do they have to rely on lies, gerrymandering, restricting the vote, deception, crises that aren't really a crisis, restricting actions of the opposing party in committees, creating false enemies such as the media, withholding public information to the opposing party, harming the lower and middle class by creating an elite class through massive tax give-sways, restricting immigration to qualified people, impeding the actions of Congress with meaningless investigations and meaningless votes on health care, etc., etc.

Remember, the Democrats have won the popular vote in six of the last seven Presidential elections.

Wow! Out of the 11 examples (out of hundreds) you picked the easiest one to refute.

1. Trump has told about4000 lies and misstatements since he took office.

2. Trump promised that Social Security and Medicare would not be touched. (You earned it.) Now Weasel Face says Social Security and Medicare have to be cut.

3. Five GOP candidates are saying that preexisting conditions will be covered in the next administration even though all five have voted to do away with the provision.

4. Cruze said during the campaign that Trump was a fraud and unfit to be President. Now he courted his endorsement and now they are best buddies.

5. During the campaign Trump promised to end the deficit and bring spending under control. The deficit is now a trillion dollars a year and will be that much for the next four years.

6. The GOp is hindering the right to vote in some states on the premise of protecting the election process from voter fraud although voter fraud is almost nonexistent.

7.Truymp and some GOp candidates are harping on the "fake media." If the media was fake it would be simple to yankl their license.

8. Mexico is going to pay for the wall? Of course they are not. How can you force a country to pay for infrastruction on our land?

9. Trump often makesw up facts and figures out of thin air and passes them off to his people as truth.

10. Trump tries to blame Rosenstein for the firing of Comey. Rosenstein complained about making him the fallguy and Trump backed down. then Trump admitted that he always intended firing Comey and admitted it in a live interview.

11. Trump claimed that he was going to pay for his own campaign. He Loaned the campaign $78,000. The Trump plane was leased to the GOP campaign.

12. The GOP promised to repeal Obamacare and replace it with a much better plan. No GOP health care plan was ever in the works.

13. Trump promised revise the tax laws. It turned out to be a way to reimburse his campaign contributors for their donations.

Although I hate to do this, I looked up Snake's real name.

It is Jerome Mander.

His friends call him Jerry Mander.

johnny, the first time your joke wasn't worth even a chuckle because you insulted your audience when you felt the need to spell it out for everyone instead of simply saying "His friends call him Jerry".

The second time your joke is just embarrassing. It only shows how funny you aren't.

You're one of those bores who keeps jabbing someone in the ribs with your elbow and saying "Get it? Get it?" when nobody laughed at you the first time. It's why people always slink away hoping not to be noticed by you when they see you entering the party.

Well then what this thread needs is another good joke...

Clown and Elk were biking the countryside
when Elk said, "Where did you get such a great bike?"
Clown replied, "Well, I was walking along
yesterday, minding my own business, when a beautiful woman
rode up on this bike, threw it to the ground, took off all
her clothes and said, "Take what you want."

Elk nodded approvingly and said, "Good
choice: The clothes probably wouldn't have fit you anyway..!

Yes, hilarious, silly.

Think how dumb I must be that I don't emulate our President and just have sex with any whore who comes along.

The difference is, I got a free bike out of it. Trump PAID $130,000 for what he wanted.

(You can tell my post is hilarious because I put six laughy faces on it like sillydummy did. Get it? Get it?)

Now I wouldn't say Clownslacker is dense, but computerized axial tomography of his brain area revealed a material believed to be mahogany.

The gals do wear slinky apparel around moi.

Say, let me note that, although I hate to do this, I looked up Snake's real name. It is Jerome Mander. His friends call him Jerry Mander.

Then I must be a genius next to johnforbes whose brain scan revealed it is filled with a substance indistinguishable from the much-more-dense lignum vitae.

There's an irony in the name, isn't there, johnny.
