Well during the FBI's investigation of Kavanaugh they recovered emails from one of Ford's witnesses (Leland Ingham Keyser), who Ford claimed was at the party. Turns out Monica McLean, a former FBI Agent, now working for the DNC and a friend of Ford’s had been pressuring Keyser to support Ford's allegation and then was angry when Keyser refused to do so under oath. Keyser told the FBI she had been asked to support Ford's version and when it came time to go under oath to the Senate she told the truth that she had never met Kavanaugh, wasn't at the party and Ford had never told her about it. This resulted in Mclean the former FBI Agent to reach out to her again and she was told she was supporting the GOP by not supporting Ford and asked that she come forward with support. This resulted in a second letter sent to the Senate saying she believed Ford. Keyser released emails concerning what she considered pressure to lie for Ford.

It would also seem that McLean was coached in order to pass her entrance polygraph at that agency.

Now that was probably a long time ago, and perhaps there was no penalty for that, but surely that doesn't indicate a person taking a polygraph in good faith...

Exactly the type of person the DNC would recruit. It would be interesting to find out why the FBI dismissed her after just 3 years at the agency.

Another thing I wonder if how an expert in biostatistics -- with two M.A. degrees and a Ph.D., who worked with drug corporations and the FDA doing very precise and detailed reports -- could fail to remember whether she gave therapist notes to the Washington Post in August.
