Per Page, there was no evidence at all to support the Russia allegations before the leaked material Comey gave to that professor.

He leaked to the media, as Comey wanted, and then Comey got the special counsel he wanted.

This was all completely corrupt, and all for partisan purposes.

No, dummy. Trump was the one who forced the inappropriate meeting alone with Comey. Even a partisan weasel like you has to admit the meeting alone should not have taken place. It was to keep the facts private so there would be no witnesses to Trump's obstruction.

Comey (not being a stupid as you are) knew Trump was going to destroy Comey's image and reputation for refusing to play along with the obstruction, so he took preemptive steps to mitigate it. The only way to stop Trump from lying about him was to put the facts out in public.

Bill Clinton often met alone for sex with interns, as did JFK, and FDR, and Harding, etc.

Trump should not have met with Comey alone. Sessions should have been there. And there is absolutely no legitimate reason to keep Sessions out of the meeting. Which leaves only the illegitimate reasons to do so. The reasons Comey understood too well. Use your head, dummy.

But go ahead, make your case to the contrary. Expound on the many noble and virtuous reasons there should be no witnesses to the workings of your government.

If you knew anything about leadership and management, good leaders do hold one on one meetings with their department heads. If you're meeting with one of your leaders for a one on one you don't bring their managers in to listen to what's said...that stifles an open exchange and you only hear what that person's manager what that person to say.

Next you enter your security clearance code to gain access to classified materials. Then you click on State Department and look for the search feature to enter the date of the meeting with Putin.
