3 days and Jury hasn't convicted on Manafort case

The media was expecting guilty verdicts on day one but yet it's clear some on the jury aren't buying the political prosecution. All signs are pointing to a hung jury. Not that I care for Manafort but what it does point out is the Mueller, put on his strongest case first to scare others, if he loses this, he will be a laughing stock

Tool, what do you think you gain by making up stupid shit?
The earliest I heard anyone say a verdict might come in is Tuesday. And it could be longer.
They have a lot of documents to review because the judge wouldn't let the prosecution present them to the jury during trial. He said "They can look at those later."
Anyone who predicted a one day verdict is an clueless ignoramus.
It's no coincidence that YOU are the only one I have heard talking about a one day verdict.

^^^^^^ A rare moment of self-reflection and insight from RealTool.
I hope he doesn't have a suicidal bent to his personality.

If Manafort was a foreign agent, like Podesta et al, then he should have registered.
But the reality is that this is honored more in the breach than the observance in DC.
So, if he is convicted, it'll be for spitting on the sidewalk.
This whole waste of money is simply Mueller seeking to punish anybody affiliated a little bit with Trump, and to help cover up the real story -- Hillary's corruption, and McCabe's, and Strzok's, and Page's...

The jury in the financial fraud trial of former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort wants to know what to do if it cannot reach a consensus in the case. Jurors posed the question to U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis III on their fourth day of deliberations. They also said they would need a new verdict form.
Why is the word "consensus" used? Verdicts must be unanimous to convict, this isn't a civil trial. Sounds like a hung jury to me.
The verdict in this case (good or bad for Manafort) means absolutely nothing to Mueller's mission to investigate Russia collusion. The lib media will try and convince otherwise if he is convicted of anything.
Trump needs to replace Mueller with someone who will investigate any possible Russian involvement in the elections and stop expending resources and time on stuff that has nothing to do with the special counsel mandate. Next think you know Mueller will open investigations on over due parking tickets.

That's our RealTool and johnflubs, comparing parking tickets and spitting on the sidewalk to multi-million dollar bank fraud and tax evasion.
Conservatives don't mind crime when it's committed by rich people. It's only when poor people commit crime that they think someone should go to jail.
But if you would bother to read the Special Cousel's mandate, Tool, you would know Manafort's tax fraud case is perfectly in keeping with the mandate of the investigation.
Stop always telling us what "the lib media" will or won't do, dummy. You clearly have no idea what they will do.
Regardless, it doesn't matter what they do. What matters is whether someone is guilty or not.
The mystery is, there is not a person on this board who doesn't believe Manafort committed the crimes with which he is charged. Not one. In fact, you're actually proud of him for committing those crimes. But you are all still here insisting that your idiot view of justice demands he walk free.
"Rule of Law" You can't pretend you believe in the rule of law while constantly saying "fuck the law, he's one of us."

The real question is whether we have "justice" like a Banana Republic.
Ken Starr went from Whitewater a long, long way to DNA on a blue dress.
Mueller hired 17 partisan Democrats for his inquiry, and no Republicans.
If you try hard enough, and spend enough money, you can find some person who did something to run afoul of the law.
But Hillary broke 18 USC 793 (look it up and see) and skated away totally free because she was a high-ranking Democrat.

RealTool is actually laughing at Mueller because Manafort is going to jail for years.
Yeah, Tool, MUELLER is the loser here.

No, what I was saying is that a "justice" process should NOT be partisan.
It should NOT favor Dems or Repubs.
It should be neutral.
Ken Starr's was not, and Mueller's is not neutral either.

He charged a perp. The perp was convicted of eight counts and the other 10 still hang over the perp's head.
The perp is going to prison for a long time.
That's a "win" in any prosecutor's book.

Um, not really.
Nobody ever cared about Manafort or Cohen. Mueller's sole aim was to get them to roll over on Trump for something.
This is pretty weak beer, however.
Can anybody prove it was campaign money or, if it was, that it was not replaced?
And the fact is that every campaign violates the thorny mess of the finance rules.
The Clinton Foundation is an ocean of fraud, but what has Mueller charged her with?
Nothing; she is protected as a Democrat.

Let's see, Republicans run the White House and Justice Department, and both houses of Congress.
Exactly who do you think is protecting the Democrats, johnny?
Are you trying to tell us the Republicans are completely incompetent at running the country? Is that your point?

According to Trump....... Cohen "plead" guilty to violations that "are not a crime?"
WUT???
Trump thinks he knows more about the law than the U.S. attorneys and a federal judge combined?
