He went into the office ready to do combat and then a week into the job, sat down. He's exempted himself in involvement in several issues and is just occupying the AG seat. He knows Trump disapproves of his performance and has even said he wished he hadn't hired him but Sessions continues to sit and do nothing. The question is why doesn't he quit? I think I know the reason, Democrats don't want him to because they might not have anything on the next person Trump picks.

His Senate seat was lost, so the pick was a disaster both ways.

Either they have something on him or he needs a testosterone shot.

They have something on him or his family. He knows Trump isn't happy with him, he isn't doing his job because he says he can't, a responsible leader would step down and let the President appoint someone who isn't restricted from doing the job. He's not doing that because he's been warned to keep the seat occupied and do nothing.

Sessions was too racist to be a judge during the Reagan years, yet he's not racist enough to keep Trump off his back.
