Trump has been cordial to Merkel today during her visit to the White House but the meeting is going more like a CEO discussing contracts with a Union Boss, it's all business. Trump is freezing her out and showing her who's the boss.

Yeah, Tool, they can't all be like Macron, hugging and kissing Trump on both cheeks.
What you didn't see on the edited FOXnews version of the meeting was that right after the kisses and hugs, Michael Cohen hurried out and obsequiously offered Macron $130,000. :o
But why does it surprise you so much that Trump could act like a President and "the meeting is going more like a CEO discussing contracts with a Union Boss, it's all business"
Good for him. Just as it should be. A real step in the right direction.

The media is ignoring the real issue that brought Merkel across the pond...
If Trump imposes more sanctions on Russia....
they may raise prices on natural gas to Germany or cut off the supply all together.. :o

Yep, Germany shut down it's nuclear energy, stop all oil drilling, did away with most of it's coal plants and as a result is dependent on Russia for over 35% of it's energy needs. During a cold period in winter Putin could put them back in the ice ages. Those solar panels just won't cut in. Of course the first thing Germany would do is say America MUST bring us the oil we need! Plus they want to sell of those air polluting cars called VW's.

You should be happy, Tool.
Then Germany will start buying their natural gas from the U.S.. We have lots.
Why do you have a problem with that?
Are you against all the fracking, pollution, and earthquakes it causes here?

Of course that would involve drilling, transporting, etc. ...and Trump would win one for the fossil fuel industry...
The Demos would riot in the streets if that was to happen..

Merkel ruined Germany and, by extension, much of Europe with her idiotic immigration.

Not only her immigration policies, but allowing them special rights when they arrived, she danced to Barak's tune!

Exactly.
If we were sitting in some mud hut in Africa, why not just sneak into Europe and get a welfare apartment, free money, free food, free medical care....

Merkel was almost crying yesterday when she said Trump made it clear that Germany must start paying for their own defense and that we can no longer count on America to provide that defense for us. Trump pointed out that all NATO members had agreed to pay at least 2% of their GDP to cover defense but that Germany only pays 1.3% while the United States pays 3.5% of our GDP, spending more on Germany's defense than they do.
Trump said that Germany is a wealthy country and that the United States will no longer pick up their defense costs while providing our young men and women to be their primary defense force.
Trump "I told Merkel that I'm the leader of the United States and everything I do will be in the interests of the United States. As the leader of Germany, she should insure that everything she does is in the interest of Germany. It's not in the best interests of the United States for U.S. citizens to be paying more for Germany's defense, than German citizens do."

For decades this has been the case, that the U.S. sends young men to serve in Germany.
They look out of their tanks and other vehicles to see young German boys doing absolutely nothing to defend Germany.
