If you want to learn about Trump's assets, you already have available his financial disclosures, which are very detailed and interesting.

Tax returns should not be disclosed needlessly because the SOLE reason the Left wants them is to launch yet another attack on Trump.

If the Left did want to learn how Trump operates, all they need to do is dig into his disclosures.

All they need is proof of income through your W-2, they can get all the rest. Now if they run a credit check on you and it's not great, you have a criminal record or they think you might be lying, they may require you sign a release for them to obtain the returns (they don't want your altered forms). But to claim mortgage lender always require the tax returns is wrong, if they were ever to ask for mine I'd just go to another lender.

I've had loans on my business and several homes, never been required to release my tax returns, but again I have a great credit history, good education, great long term income and I've never been arrested. They don't need to check my tax returns. Now, Elk I could see them requiring your tax returns, no surprise there.
