Raid on Trump’s Lawyer Sought Records of Payments to Women

WASHINGTON — The F.B.I. agents who raided the office of President Trump’s personal lawyer on Monday were looking for records about payments to two women who claim they had affairs with Mr. Trump, and information related to the publisher of The National Enquirer’s role in silencing one of the women, several people briefed on the investigation said.

The search warrant carried out by the public corruption unit of the Manhattan federal attorney’s office seeks information about Karen McDougal, an ex-Playboy model who claims she carried on a nearly yearlong affair with Mr. Trump shortly after the birth of his son in 2006. Ms. McDougal was paid $150,000 by American Media Inc., the Enquirer’s parent company, whose chief executive is a friend of Mr. Trump’s.

Hillary very clearly broke the law by having CLASSIFIED material relevant to national security on a private server, and nobody raided her lawyer's office.

She was given the chance to select what email she turned over, but she still deleted 33,000 emails and bleached the server, and STILL no raid on her home or her lawyer's office.

From what I remember...Hillary never had her house or office raided by the FBI.

The problem is that no special counsel should be looking for political sins, which both Dems and Repubs and all others commit because of human nature.

The special counsel law requires a specific crime, and collusion isn't even a crime.

Had it been non-partisan, and applied consistently, that would be fine.

But this is all partisan, and the notion that Mueller has always been a Republican is laughable as is most everything else on CNN and MSNBC.

Mueller hired all Democrats, and 9 of his lawyers actually showed recent bias by donating to Hillary or Obama.
