Kushner’s Business Got Loans
After White House Meetings

"Early last year, a private equity billionaire started paying regular visits to the White House.

Joshua Harris, a founder of Apollo Global Management, was advising Trump administration officials on infrastructure policy. During that period, he met on multiple occasions with Jared Kushner, President Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser, said three people familiar with the meetings. Among other things, the two men discussed a possible White House job for Mr. Harris.

The job never materialized, but in November, Apollo lent $184 million to Mr. Kushner’s family real estate firm, Kushner Companies. The loan was to refinance the mortgage on a Chicago skyscraper.

Even by the standards of Apollo, one of the world’s largest private equity firms, the previously unreported transaction with the Kushners was a big deal: It was triple the size of the average property loan made by Apollo’s real estate lending arm, securities filings show.

It was one of the largest loans Kushner Companies received last year. An even larger loan came from Citigroup, which lent the firm and one of its partners $325 million to help finance a group of office buildings in Brooklyn."- New York Times

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/02/28/busi ... loans.html

johnforbes is outraged by a $143 million contribution to the Clinton Foundation after a deal that Hillary could neither initiate nor stop.
So this windfall transaction, three times as large, given directly to the Kushner family business after White House meetings, is undoubtedly going to have johnforbes posting his great disapproval a few dozen times a well.

Let's see if johnny's hypocrisy is going to rear its ugly head once again.

Whats your point? How many thugs and billionaires did Ojackass have to the white house?
How much of Hillary's pay to play has been donated to real charities? Les then 2%!
How many thugs and billionaires has Hillary swindled into giving them millions in return for political favors.

I wonder if Clown will rear his ugly head over this one or give them a pass.

If, as the facts emerge, it turns out that Kushner was selling access to the White House, certainly I would oppose that.

The New York Times is saturated with Left Wing ideology, so it is NOT a neutral news source.

We shall see what we shall see.

The AssClown is shrieking and pounding the arms of his wheel chair over a loan while Killery black bagged millions in bribes.

What a complete buffoon.
(Here we will see the AssClown attempt a silly ass word game on my calling him a buffoon)

johnny, the meetings between the bank CEO and Kushner DID take place. This is not debatable.
Afterwards, the extraordinarily large loans DID get made to Kushner's company. This is not debatable.

It doesn't matter whether you are liberal or conservative, you have the facts. They are just as solid as the facts about the uranium deal. If you find the Kushner loans circumstantial, then the Clinton contributions are just as circumstantial.
If you find the Clinton contributions damning, then they are more damning in the Kushner case since he could actually influence things where Clinton could not in the uranium deal.

Newspaper bias has nothing to do with it.
What you need to worry about is your own partisan bias and chronic hypocrisy.

By the way, did you see the way I have the AssClown Loser Tool Insipid dancing for me and impotently pounding the arms of his La-Z-TurdBoy? He's a hoot, ain't he?

So that's what businesses do! Unless they can show the loans were a condition to have the meetings there's nothing there.

So far, I don't see it as a Sherman Adams vicuna coat scandal.

Two things happening, but one may not have caused the other.

I'm glad to see you've backed off your claim that Hillary got some sort of payoff for the Uranium One deal that she basically had nothing to do with.

It's almost like you're briefly rational.

Kushner got 500 million dollars in loans after meeting bank executives as a government official. And they supposedly discussed infrastructure....with bank executives?

And even offered them a job in the White House?

This this Trump's brand of corruption...

There were multiple signoffs for the uranium deal, but Hillary was the key one as Sec of State and presumptive president.

She did indeed get kickbacks of 146 million to her foundation.

If it turns out that anybody else sold access in like manner, I will obviously condemn that.

My main outrage, in regard to this thread, has been the paucity of thong pics of Hope.

Kushner worked in the White House for a year and never got a security clearance and lied on his applications.

And the republitards wanted to jail Clinton for using an unsecured email server?

The "supposedly" loan would have been a loan, Hillary received billions in "donations".

No, the Secretary of State had only a non-binding advisory position on that deal. Treasury ran the deal and had the final say, regardless of what Clinton said about it.
You're just parading your ignorance every time you repeat that nonsense.

"She did indeed get kickbacks of 146 million to her foundation."-johnfibs

And Kushner did indeed get kickbacks of $500 million to his personal business based on your own reasoning.

There is not one iota more evidence of Clinton getting "kickbacks" than of Kushner getting "kickback" loans.
If you're going to pretend one is true based on the evidence, you must assume the other is also true based on the same amount of evidence.

To cash his Social Security disability checks? Or what?

By the way, you DO realize that your Social Security check is one of those fucking Socialist programs you hate so much but couldn't live without, right?
Same thing with the 911 EMTs who showed up trying to resuscitate namandgulf when you smothered him with a pillow.
Yup, Socialist, you un-American traitor. :o

Yes, these posers always say, "Sure I take socialist Social Security and I will avail myself of the socialist emergency response teams sent to save my life, but I hate socialism."

You're right, you aren't a Socialist. You couldn't care less about your fellow man, or the Constitution for that matter.
It's everyone for himself in your belief system.

You're just another freeloader with no qualms about selling out your alleged convictions.

By the way, no one is "a union member who never contributes to it."
If you don't contribute, you can't be a member, dimwit.
If you think you can, go try to join a union and refuse to pay your dues.
