Trump kept his promise to sweep Northern California businesses for illegals.

Federal immigration agents raided 77 businesses in Northern California this week, demanding proof that their employees are legally allowed to work in the United States, officials said Thursday.

It was believed to be the largest such localized sweep of workplaces by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency since President Trump took office. In January, ICE agents swept into nearly 100 7-Eleven stores nationwide and arrested 21 suspected undocumented immigrants.

Thomas Homan, the agency’s acting director, has called for a “400 percent increase” in such workplace operations and warned that Southern California is next. Homen promised "If the State won't notify ICE when they have them in custody for other crimes, we will go into their homes and work places to get them."

So Trump tells us illegal immigrants are bad because they join gangs and kill girls.

Then he sends ICE after gainfully employed taxpayers instead of increasing support for police to target gangs.

“Serving 77 notices of inspection on different employers in the last three days within a single area of responsibility, in this case, San Francisco, appears unprecedented,” said Angelo Paparelli, an immigration attorney in Los Angeles with the firm Seyfarth Shaw LLP.

James Schwab, a spokesman for ICE, said the raids the reflected “stepped-up” efforts to enforce laws that prohibit businesses from hiring undocumented workers and that "the days of people ignoring our immigration laws are over."

I knew the round ups of illegals would cause Clown to melt down. What I like is their also going after businesses that hire illegals...that's key to taking the carrot away from those coming here illegally. They should next cut off all social assistance with the exception of emergency medical treatment. Mexico should receive the unpaid medical bills for this citizens just as they bill the United States for our civilians that can't pay. They detain our citizens until the bill is paid, either by insurance, the person or the State Department.
