Two senior FBI officials have now reviewed a controversial Republican staff memo alleging abuses of government surveillance programs during the 2016 presidential campaign, the officials “could not point to any inaccuracies.” The two officials – one from the bureau’s counterintelligence division and the other from the legal division – followed up after an initial review of the memo during a rare Sunday trip to Capitol Hill by FBI Director Christopher Wray.
DOJ officials reported Tuesday that parts of that memo are now "moot" -- specifically the term "reckless," as DOJ and FBI officials have now had the opportunity to review the document and confirmed the contents are accurate. This was a rebuke of Assistant Attorney General Stephen E. Boyd who originally had called the Republican staff memo’s release “unprecedented” and “reckless.”
LOL, takes the wind of the Democrat's response to the memo that supposed to prove information in the memo is inaccurate and without basis.

All of this raises the question of what thousands of these bureaucrats do all day.
It takes Congress, or the IG, or some newspaper, to uncover any truth.
It seems that texting each other all day and drinking coffee is what they do.
Well, and protecting Hillary (who very clearly broke the law with her email) and framing Trump (as it is now very clear they sought to do).

I have friend in D.C. who is high up in the federal government, he is the first to admit the agencies are stuffed with people not needed by those trying to expand their power and importance. I've mentioned before that his personal secretary and his receptionist both earn more than 125K and both of them have assistants earning more than 90K. He estimates federal workers spent at least half of their day on social media or chatting/texting with friends. He fought it when he first got there but was put in place that he was not to rock the boat, just go with the flow, "live and let live" is the D.C. motto.
