The Senate on Monday voted 81-18 to break a Democratic filibuster, President Trump explained that was destined to happen and slammed those who tried to get him to cave to DACA. "Senator's heard the citizen's outrage that Democrats were putting the interests of illegals over citizens, now back to work."

Maybe this will convince the Republicans to finally stand up to the Democraps and make them realize that the Democraps are not honorable and will never live up to promises made.
It took Trump to finally grow balls on the Republicans.

And to think we actually had Republicans ready to cave and give Democrats everything they wanted on DACA, chain migration and immigration loto increases, when they had no roll in the budget negotiations.
Once again Trump has demonstrated he's playing chess while they continue to play checkers.

So Justme...you're telling us that it was Trump's bungling of the deal that precipitated the shutdown.
And that he mastered the art of the deal...by essentially staying out of the deal making process and letting the people who actually know what the fuck they are doing...seal the deal?

The Democrats removed one hostage from the table in the coming negotiations. The CHIP program is now extended for six years. Thus the Republicans and Trump can't say "It's CHIP or DACA, but we won't give you both."
Now the Republicans actually have to deal with DACA within three weeks without other leverage over the Dems.
And for this, the Dems gave up exactly nothing.
Sure, Tool, Trump won. :lol:

As a corollary...let me get something straight here.
First Trump claims that the Mexicans will pay for the wall.
Then Trump said that you (taxpayers) will pay for the wall, however, the Mexicans will eventually pay for the wall...somehow or another?
And a few days ago Trump demanded if the taxpayers don't pay for the wall...then the government gets shut down.

Trump tweets he finally agrees with Jim Acosta's statement on the matter and thanks him.
Even Crazy Jim Acosta of Fake News CNN agrees: “Trump World and WH sources dancing in end zone: Trump wins again...Schumer and Dems caved...gambled and lost.” Thank you for your honesty Jim!
