'Safe zone' for women aims to stop New Year's refugee sex attacks in Berlin. New Year's Eve celebrations in Berlin will see a "safe zone" for women for the first time in the city's history.

Organizers of the Brandenburg Gate party are hoping to prevent mob attacks similar to those that occurred two years ago. Several hundred women were attacked by gangs of men with migrant backgrounds during New Year's Eve celebrations in 2015. The incident happened after Germany had accepted a record influx of more than one million migrants.

The German capital will this year have a four block "safety zone" where Red Cross helpers will look after women who feel harassed or threatened. Women have been encouraged not to venture outside of safe zone unless accompanied by other people.

Amazing how unregulated "immigration" creates the need for "safe zones". Go stand in that corner, women and what ever you do, don't encourage the immigrants to attack you by getting out of the corner.

Of course a German guy I had a couple beers with quietly confided in me that many Germans personally, and very discreetly feel that Hitler wasn't all wrong.

I just watched a documentary on the history of an Army unit that fought at the Chosin Reservoir during the Korean War.
Usually the Marines get all the glory for that horrible event, but the Army fought with valor too.
An Army lieutenant, badly wounded, ordered his men to leave him behind as he was slowing them down, and continue to safety. His First Sergeant, a former member of the German Wehrmacht who had enlisted in the American Army at the end of WWII, refused, saying, "I will never leave my officer behind." and carried the lieutenant to safety.
