So, when we make a decision, at the will of the American people, about where to locate OUR embassy, we don't expect those we've helped to target us. On Thurs there'll be a vote criticizing our choice. The US will be taking names [sic],” Haley said.

Haley also sent a warning letter to UN member states, portions of which were circulated on Twitter.

“To be clear, we are not asking for other countries [to] move their embassies to Jerusalem, though we think it would be appropriate. We are simply asking you acknowledge the historical friendship, partnership, and support we have extended and respect our decision about our embassy.

“The president will be watching this vote carefully and has requested I report back on those who voted against us. We will take note of every vote on this issue,” Haley wrote.
About damn time members of the UN be sent a message, we are once again a sovereign nation.

Another great thing about Trump is the emphasis on American ideas.

America does not have a perfect history (no nation does), but it it the best big country in human history.

Our values and ideas should be adopted by other nations, not the other way around.

All cultures are NOT equal.

Of course the media likes to twist it around and says the President is hurting our security abroad by cutting funds to our friends....But If they vote against us, they are not friends....only mooches. And the President only said the US would keep an eye on where our money goes not that he will stop funding security where needed. :o

Canada, Mexico and Australia took Trump's threat serious, they abstained from voting against Trump's embassy move. Germany, Japan and France and others on the other hand sided with Hamas over Israel and the United States voting that the United States has no right to put our embassy in Israel's capital.

Trump responded this morning that the United States is tired of handing out 10's of billions of dollars and providing defense to countries that attempt to bully and undermine the United States. Now we know where some of the spending cut backs are going to be coming from.
