Comey Changed the Wording

Former FBI Director James Comey is taking criticism for changing the language between an early draft and the final copy of his statement on ending the Hillary Clinton email investigation.

Newly reported memos show Comey originally accused the former secretary of state of being “grossly negligent” in handling classified information in a draft dated May 2, 2016. But that was modified to claim that Clinton had been “extremely careless” in a draft dated June 10, 2016.

Federal law states that gross negligence in handling the nation’s intelligence can be punished criminally with prison time.

After submitting the original draft to the Clinton Outfit for approval, he was advised to revise the document or to get his personal affairs in order.
Quickly.

I guess that's why he changed the wording, right, johnny?

He apparently didn't think it rose to the level of being "grossly negligent" after he looked into it further.

You do understand what "early draft" and "final draft" mean don't you?
One is relevant, the other isn't. Put that razor-sharp legal mind of yours to work and guess which is which.

this is just like Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, who rewrote Obongo care to fit Obuttholes agenda. but then he died didnt he. I wonder if Comey is next to die or is going to be Donna Brazil..

At one time the FBI was highly respected, now even the local police laugh when the FBI shows up to help them with an investigation. Obama installed his cronies who turned the DOJ and FBI into a political tool, good FBI supervisors were driven out while those who played the game were promoted.

The FBI and DOJ needs to be investigated for their abuse of power and cover ups of criminal acts.

My mind, whether "razor-sharp" or not, tells me that there is no need to draft an exoneration letter before the investigation is even halfway done.

Also, when you delete 33,000 emails under subpoena, and then BleachBit the server, you are intentionally destroying evidence which you know is under request by Congress.

Only a criminal would do that.

As to Comey, he was very clearly operating for political reasons or he would have felt no need whatever to fine-tune some exoneration letter.

Anybody who did have a razor-sharp legal mind would know that you can write an exoneration letter in 5 minutes.

I think my comment was very close to what actually took place.

Yep and any attorney can tell you had Comey drafted a letter concerning what she was going to be charged at that stage of the investigation... the investigation would be considered tainted and the charges tossed out.

Mueller has tainted his investigation and there is no way in hell there can be a conviction that won't be overturned.
