As we’ve written before, the best measurement is the revenue effect as a percentage of gross domestic product. Tempalski wrote in 2006 that this measure “eliminates the effects of inflation, real economic growth, and the size of total federal receipts.” Over a four-year average, the revenue effect of Reagan’s 1981 tax cut was 2.89 percent of GDP. (Reagan’s cut also had the largest impact as a percentage of federal receipts over a four-year average.) That’s the most of any tax cut in the Treasury report, going back to 1940.
Using CRFB’s cost estimate for the current Republican tax plan, the average revenue effect would be 0.9 percent of GDP over the 10-year period. That’s also lower than tax cuts implemented in 2010 and 2013, as well as those in 1948, 1945 and 1964, with the last three measured over just one year. (The Treasury report includes the four-year averages for tax measures since 1978, but uses shorter periods for prior years.)
This is an excellent piece on the tax plan proposed by the GOP. It is from a well respected organization.

I doubt these numbers figure in the impact to the economy the proposed 20% corporate income tax rate would produce.
Currently the United States has the highest corporate income tax in the world. This has resulted in trillions of dollars being held offshore. Were that money to be moved into our economy the benefits would be incalculable.
Of course libtards are terrified of prosperity because that renders them irrelevant, so look for them to fight tooth and nail, trundeling out all the usual canards and pushing class envy and warfare.

Actually, we are the third highest in corporate taxation. Most countries are around 34% or 35%. But...IRS figures show that most corporations actually pay about 16% corporate income tax.

The tax cuts are going run up the national debt by 1.5 Trillion dollars and only 33% of the public supports it (Trumptards).
Where are the teabaggers when you need them?

From NPR, of all places:
The long answer: The U.S. has the highest top corporate tax rate at least among advanced economies. Compared with nations in the OECD — the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, a group of highly developed countries — the U.S. has the highest top corporate tax rate in the world. The top corporate tax rate in the U.S., a combination of federal and state and local taxes, is nearly 39 percent this year. That's well above most other OECD nations.

Elkindoofus, nothing is stopping you from writing a huge check to the United States Treasury if you feel you don't pay enough in taxes.
You won't of course. Libtards only want to spend other people's money.

If you wanted to use a devious method to deceive people who are trying to differentiate between truth and lies on the Internet how would you do it? If you were extremely devious and had no conscience, you might set up a Web site with some official and unbiased sounding name that claims to be the encyclopedia of truth to be used as a tool for anyone who has the same biased view and wants to make believe to "back it up" with what they would like you to think is "indisputable fact."
That is exactly what Web sites like factcheck.org are. They are biased, politically motivated propaganda Web sites, manned and funded by biased political organizations who set up the sites for the sole purpose of deviously "backing up" the political arguments of those who hold the same views that they do. It's kind of like you have a friend who is in on your lie, and you use him to back up your story and don't tell anyone else he is your friend.
Just because they use a name that implies unbiased assessments, doesn't mean that they provide them. You can call your Web site anything you want. I can set up a web site called thetruth.org or realfacts.com or stopthelies.org and post any kind of biased political propaganda I want on it. The name means nothing. And in the case of sites like factcheck.org, the name is intentionally misleading and deceptive. But it isn't the only so called "fact check" site that is a fraud. There are others.
