My thoughts are that you, as always, are misrepresenting a bi-partisan bill that was signed into law by G.H.W.Bush.

This was a dumb bill for Schumer to propose and dumb for anybody who signed it.

So it requires no proficiency in English, no skill, and if a person claimed to have worked 2 years out of the last 5 that would make up for a person not even finishing high school.

this might be, however he did come in during the Ojackass era when no one was vetted. You remember those times when you libs were running things allowing anyone and everyone to cross our borders in droves. Not being vetted just open the door and threw out the welcome mat.

Ted's 1965 immigration bill began the ruin of America by explicitly importing people from failed nations.
