Paul Manafort, has been charged with conspiring to defraud the US in his dealings with Ukraine. The good news for Trump is these charges stem from Manafort's past business dealings, not his campaign efforts. He is being accused of working for years for Ukrainian politicians and laundering millions in subsequent payments, none of those actions took place during Trump's campaign and had no influence on the election..

It certainly makes Trump's decision to cut Manafort loose last August after details emerged of his Ukrainian ties a very wise one.

Mueller has also arranged for a far left judge to oversee the case, he was selected as a judge by Obama and was a major Hillary donor. The swamp is doing everything they can to stack the deck...but they did same during the election and still lost.

If the judge convicts there is more than enough for this to be elevated to the Trump Supreme Court. :lol: :lol: :lol:

I'm not so sure about the premise of this post.

a. Popodapolis was an insider who was one time considered for National Security Advisor. He worked for months in the White House under cover. Was he wearing a wire? I don't know. I do believe that he is answering every question the FBI asks him completely and truthfully. If anyone has done anything wrong in the White House I think they should be worried.

b. Sean Spicer was known for keeping copious notes on everything. I'm sure that he shared them with Mueller in his interview. I'm sure that there were more than a few nuggets of gold that Mueller is slobbering over.

c. About Mueller, I have heard that he is exactly what an FBI man is supposed to be. If I found out that he was investigating me I would be in his office the next day asking him what he wants me to plead guilty to.

I'm not so sure about the premise of this answer.
Popadopolus, or whatever his name is, was arrested by the FBI because he LIED to them.

A. The charging documents list him as a "Proactive Cooperating Defendant."

B. He worked in the White House for several months after being arrested without disclosing his arrest.

C. The judge said that his sentence may be "between zero and six months." Probation is also possible. This is extremely light for a charge that carries a five year possible sentence.

The indictment of Manafort and his business partner indicated that Mueller could not get them to roll over and claim Trump did anything wrong.

Frankly, it is surprising they didn't because Manafort and his associate may (emphasis: may) have sought to hide millions offshore.

If that turns out to be true (a 90 percent Democrat grand jury will indict any Republican), then any person who sought to underpay his federal tax would be pursued.
