Their policy is no refunds after the season starts but they've received so many angry customer wanting to cancel their season packages, they're making an exception and allowing full refunds. The customer rep said those who don't cancel this month will receive pro-rated refunds if they want to cancel. Apparently DirecTV's CEO understands the anger and approved off on the refunds.

A large portion of the $280 for the Season Package goes to the NFL, it'll be interesting if DirecTV recovers that money from the NFL on all those cancelled packages.
