A 7.1 earthquake hit Mexico City hours after a city wide earthquake drill, some were still in their drill uniforms when it hit. Prayers and thoughts to those in Mexico City.

LOL....During my teaching days, we had drills for every damn thing you can think of.....fire, tornado, terrorism, etc.....
Anyhow, one day a tornado drill was scheduled, and a brand new alert system was put in place. At the scheduled time of the drill, a heavy rain had started, and it was quite windy, and we sat there watching the storm and waiting for the alarms and announcements to go off.
The wind suddenly picked up to a ferocious blur, and rain was falling by the buckets.....we couldn't see the cafeteria, which was only 15 ft outside our window. Then, suddenly, the wind died down and the rain stopped. An F2 tornado had come directly across the school. Our new alarm system........LOL Not a peep. The school building wasn't hurt, but several trees and maintenance sheds went down.

Dog, nice story but why the LOL?
Mexico City has a greater population of 21 million people and the majority of them were effected by this earthquake with the number of dead climbing by the minute. Millions will be homeless or living in damaged homes since they don't have the money to rebuild. I have nothing against the Mexican people and pray for their quick recovery, their resources are already spread thin...this is YUGE!

Sure, Tool, you were just ridiculing Mexico for rescinding their offer of aid to Texas because of their own crisis.
Now, with a second major crisis, you're here pretending to support them.
You're just another hypocritical partisan douche bag.

There's an opportunity for both Mexico and the United States as result of this terrible event. We've been receiving the "bottom feeders" from Mexico but now there's a chance for us to receive good people that'll contribute to communities. I hope our government reaches out to those good people and give them a path to American citizenship.
