Emmys a Major FAIL

Emmys TV Review: Donald Trump Overkill Stains Stephen Colbert’s Hosting Debut.

In a way, this is all your fault,” Colbert, the host of CBS’ Late Show, told the well-heeled crowd early on at the Microsoft Theatre of Trump’s rise to the White House — because the ex-Celebrity Apprentice host was denied an Emmy win back in the day. As he has said in the past few weeks and night after viewership-topping late-night, Colbert was quick to reiterate his belief Sunday that Trump is the biggest TV star around. Following that up with a weak gag about last year’s record low ratings, the POTUS attacks went on as former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer made a surprise roll-on to the CBS-broadcast show with a portable podium and a slew of untruths.

Total Irrelevance: Trump-Hating Emmys Hit All-Time Ratings Low
Adjustments might take a little of the sting out of the news that Sunday night’s Emmy telecast was a ratings catastrophe, but any adjustment will only make the nightmare a little less nightmarish. Instead of being the lowest-watched Emmys in its 69-year history, Sunday night’s telecast might be able to squeak into the second-lowest.

s of now, though, it looks as though all that promised Trump-hating resulted in a record low, which is especially shocking (at least to bubbled Hollywood) because last year everyone was certain the bottom had been hit
Regardless, the die is cast. Last night was yet-another ratings flop for Hollywood’s Beautiful People. As of now it looks as though fewer than 11.3 million viewers tuned in to watch host Stephen Colbert’s hate-fest. That would mean the 69th Emmy telecast had fewer viewers than last year’s 68th, which currently holds the all-time low ratings record.

What we do know for sure is that the 8.2 overnight rating is lower than 2016’s 8.4. Even in the coveted 18-49 age group, TVs Greatest Night flopped with a pathetic 2.8, which proves that even young people are tired of watching rich elites publicly work through their inability to come to terms with losing the 2016 presidential election.

The AssClown checks in to hurl a few insults and call names, but he refuses to open the thread on homosexual dysfunction and explain the origins of his homo rage, hate and assorted mental illness.

Come on Assclown we all know you watched it while spanking your monkey and sniffing Dogshits asshole. After all it was about LGBTQ getting awards for being queer and hating Trump.

I'm beginning to think Clown is jealous that some of us are
able to express our views on a wide range of subjects......

On the subject of the Emmys..
Michael O'Connell of the Hollywood Reporter blames the low rating on the NFL and
that many were cable mini series nominations....yeah right!

Back in November when Trump left Colbert staring at the camera speechless on election night..
Now that deserved an Emmy !

^^^^^ Look at these closet fags obsessing over homosexuality, all day, every day.

Of course, those of us who are secure in our heterosexuality don't pay any attention to it and only think about it when they bring it up first.

Never in my life have I watched the Emmys, or the Oscars for that matter. Or any awards show. They are boring and irrelevant--which explains why boring and irrelevant people are fixated on them, I suppose.
Decreasing award show viewership only bodes well for America in my mind.

But you go, Turd Boy Insipid and namandgulfdumfuck! Keep jacking off to your TVs.
You closet-case conservatives seem to enjoy patting each other on the back as much as the Hollywood types do.

I watched the program, and it was actually very amusing. There were some really good jabs at tRumpf, and Spicey's appearance was a real show stopper! All in all, it was very good.

The last thing anybody needs is some overpaid moron from Hollywood sending a virtue signal about how much they hate Trump and thus -- in the eyes of Hollywood -- how wonderful they are.

It is posing, preening, and utterly unwatchable.

Clowntoker has often expressed admiration, friendship, and respect in his email.

And, if I knew how to text, he would do so in that way too.

Not love because I don't deal with the dark deviance of demented deeds.

When some latter day Toynbee writes the history of the 20th Century, and the 21st, the many contributions of this fine forum will rank among the highest points in human achievement.

Yes, Kicker.....JJ has redeeming traits. He KNOWS that the bullshit he spews is Fake. These other morons don't have a clue. Some would say that that actually makes JJ WORSE than them, but I tend to see it differently. JJ is just toeing the party line.

The main reason I've remained on the forum for 72 years is the wonderful defined benefit pension it offers.

For a long time I was amazed that someone that stupid could have ever learned to ride a motorcycle.

Then I realized that's just the helmet his mother puts on him every day before he goes outside to play. ROFLMAO
