OK, what say all of you Naysayers now that they are up and running? Sure there will be problems at first, but they will get worked out.

I was only a critical questioner, not a naysayer.
But now I say NAY NAY NAY NAY NAY NAY NAY!!!
What they have done is far worse than not getting the site back up -- they have exposed all of the material formerly protected (relatively) in the member areas to mass theft and access by minors!
Can you please join us in asking why they hell they have done this and getting them to close those sections immediately?! Or do contributors matter as little to you as I am beginning to think they matter to this iteration of VW?

Yes, the Private Section needs to be closed immediately.

VW administrators, please immediately close or at least restore restricted access to those sections of VW/RC where members were promised exclusivity. Not doing so shows a callous disregard for your most important constituency -- your contributors -- and irresponsible abnegation of your responsibilities to those contributors. I can only hope this was all a terrible mistake on your part due to earlier ignorance, but you can no longer plead such ignorance in the face of these requests. You stand now willfully negligent.

I stand by every criticism I've made.
